Does Fruta Planta decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills? I'm taking Junel 1/20.

Fruta Planta is an herbal supplement, that means that it isn't tested to see if it has an effect or interaction with other medications.

The listed ingredients are:

fruit lemon, fruit gum, bitter gourd, Papaya, benefit fruit and spiral.

You should also be informed that the FDA has found it to contain an unlisted drug ingredient, Sibutramine and has banned it being sold and used in the U.S.

There is no miracle weight loss product on the market and even the ones that do help, such as prescription medications, only do so much and you cannot keep taking them, forever, to keep the weight off.

If you are concerned about losing weight, you should talk to your doctor and follow a proper diet and exercise regimen. It is the most effective solution and developing the healthy habits has many long term benefits.
