Hi, I want to take a micropil but i don't know when i need to start? This is the fifth day of my period. Should i take it now? Is it ok if i changed pills every month? my first 4 months i took althea pill but i felt that it makes me dry, then i changed to nordette for 3 months but i felt frequently headache, and now Im taking micropill. Is there any effect about it? ## You may experience some more side effects by changing frequently, because of the different hormone levels that are in them, but that's about all, unless your doctor has said otherwise. However, due to that fact, you should settle on one as soon as you can get one that works well for you, without causing problems and not keep switching. Our bodies really don't like the constantly fluctuating hormone levels. I am 47 years old and on the 28th August i started spotting on and off for about 2 weeks before my period started. My period has now been going for about 3 weeks non stop. I visited the clinic and they gave me Oralcon and said that I must take 2 white tablets immediately and thereafter 1 a day until my period stops. After the 2nd day of taking Oralcon my period had stopped but I was experiencing terrible stomach pain so I stopped taking the Oralcon and my period has started again. I had jadelle implanted july 2015, and recently one of the rods started comming out.. I went to the doctor and only had that one removed.. Will its still have the same affect with just one as to having two rods?? Just started taking Lo Loestrin a week ago and traveled across the world and alarm was set without remembering time zone so took pill 4 hours and 15 minutes late. I won't be having sex for another 8 days at least (since out of the country) and know to be careful for the first month since I just started. Two questions. First will taking it 4 hours late hurt anything? I'm usually really on top of it so it shouldn't happen again. Hi. Last month of December I saw my periods twice a month and the second one wasn't normal as usual and on the first week of January I went to check and the nurse told me its hormonal balancing and also gave me the oralcon pills. I have been taking everyday as instructed and now am on the red pills but I haven't seen my periods till today and only few days left for the month to end. Hi! I've been using althea pills for over a month and i just started my second set of pills yesterday after the 7 day break. I've noticed that i lost weight (which i'm not happy with since i'm trying to gain some) and my zits were more evident now than before i started taking pills. I have been on birth control for years now and it has been a great experience overall. I’m usually very good about not missing any pills and taking them at a normal time. However last month I experienced all the symptoms i usually get before a period such as cramps and fatigue but never got my period. It was during a stressful time of moving out so I thought maybe that had something to do with it. So last year I was on yaz and after about 3 months, I started having cramps and gas and always felt like my stomach wasnt settled.
