Is It Okay To Take Daphne Pills Even If I Dont Have My Mens?

I need your advice, because i dont know about taking pills.. i just gave birth last June 27, 2015 , i want to use daphne as a contraceptive but i havent had my period yet until now.. is it okay to take daphne even without mens? Or do i need to wait for my menstration...?
