You can start at any time, but if it's past the 2nd day of your period, you will need to take them for a full week, before they will become effective in your body to prevent pregnancy. And you start at the beggining of the pack, with the blue active tablets. The white inactive tablets are intended for your period week. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hello good day! This helps allow your body to adjust to the hormones in the medication and starts the protection to prevent pregnancy, because you are not protected immediately, it takes time for the protection to take effect. You have to wait at least a week, before having unprotected sex and preferably, a month. Are there any comments or questions? ## can i use trust pill as a quick start? small round white watson on one side 15/30 on other side ## birth control pill, compare to levora. ## Yes, it contains the same active ingredients, it is just a generic for it. It is used to treat hormonal issues in women, and to prevent pregnancy. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, mood changes, spotting, and weight changes. Please do not use combination hormonal contraceptives, if you are over 40 and a smoker, due to the increased risk of potentially deadly blood clots. Is there anything I can help with?

I am 53 and have been taking lo loestrin fe 1/10 for about two years. I stopped taking it for 2 months and have lots of hot flashes and mood swings. I have started taking junel 1/20. What is the difference in these two drugs? When/Will the hot flashes etc stop? ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? Yes, that would happen if you stopped taking abruptly and two months wasn't enough time to allow your body to balance things back out on its own. From what you've listed, the Junel contains twice the amount of estrogens as the other. And its difficult to say when they will stop, it could take awhile for the hormones to balance back out. Have you consulted your doctor for advice? ## I was on Lo Loestrin for years. Had to switch to junel fe or Blisovo for insurance reasons. Both have twice the ...

Ladies, please do not take this awful pill!! I would never take Tri-Lo-Sprintec (TLS) pill again!! Ever! As happened to many of you, one day showing up at the pharmacy I found out that my insurance would not cover OTC-Lo (which I have been taking for 5 years) and that I'd have to pay $75 instead of previously paying $0. The pharmacist assured me that the generic TLS is EXACTLY THE SAME as OTC-Lo. Stupid me, I didn't do my homework research and started taking TLS the next week. Almost right away, I started spotting. From day to day, I would experience sharp and dull pain in my lower stomach which I had never experienced on OTC-Lo; at first, I didnt even link it to the new pill. I also started experiencing bad mood swings. I had some on OTC-Lo before but now they became much worse...
May 21 last na take ko ng althea. Then on 25 of may ako nagka mens. Start ako ulit ng 29 na mag take ng pills then on the 31 of may nakipagcontact ako safe ba ako kasi wala kaming ginamit na iba pang safe method kahit withdrawal. ## Safe po. Kasi hindi kna nag oovulate while on the pill. Basta po sinunod nyo ung 7 day ONLY ang pill free day, hindi na kayo mag oovulate na cause ng pregnancy. pero kapag lumagpas ka ng 7 day break, thats the tym na magworry ka kasi naexpyrna ung effectiveness ng pill and you are likely to ovulate. Pills can only circulated sa bloobstream mo for an extension of 7 days, which is the pill free week and ofcourse safe ang intercourse during that tym. Pero pag lumagpas ka ng 1 week, you have to wait another 7 day bago ka maprotect. ## Hi..magpapatulong lang po s...
I have been on this pill since March and only got my period the first month I was on it and it was very light and only lasted a couple of days. haven't gotten it since. I have taken tests...all negative. Any one else experiencing this? ## Since there are hormonal based contraceptive tablets, both of these symptoms can be normal side effects of using the medication. There is really no harm in skipping your menstrual cycle, there are even contraceptives on the market that are specifically designed to let you skip for several months in a row. However, if you are concerned, you should consulted your doctor. Are there any other questions? ## I probably started taking this in April/May. I can't remember exactly. For the first three packs I didn't get a period. On the fourth pack I...
My implanon expired a month ago And I've noticed horrible headaches and night time nausea. I cannot be pregnant because my husband and I started using condoms before it expired. Any advice? I cannot afford to get it removed right now, I have no health insurance. Thanks ## Just like when taking any other medication, withdrawal of contraceptive hormones can cause withdrawal effects, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience dizziness, PMS-like symptoms and spotting. However, it would be best to have things checked out, as soon as possible. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I had the nexplanon for 6 years (2 terms) and it's still in my arm. It expired on Dec. 6th. It's now Jan. 12th and I've had a regular period since maybe 6 months before it expired. And it ...
My wife has a baby of 3 months and takes b-gap contraceptive tablets. Is this advisable? ## I'm sorry, but I am not quite sure what you are asking. I also don't have much information on the product B-Gap, it is claimed to be a contraceptive to prevent pregnancy, however, since it is just an herbal supplement, it is not actually proven to do anything. Can you post your question a little more clearly? ## Can B-gap tablet prevent pregnancy upto six months? ## Is it really control birth upto six month? How does it possible? ## And that is the issue, it is an herbal supplement, so it is not proven to actually prevent pregnancy, in any manner. That's why it is not considered a drug and is not approved by any drug agency, or prescribed by doctors. If you wish to prevent pregnancy, ...

Hi, I've been taking Diane for 2 years. I'm sure there are days I forgot to take a pill, and I'm sure I had miscalculated the 1st day I started the previous pack. Can I start taking the pill on the next 1st day of my menstruation, and not following the 7 days count? ## No, you will still need to follow to 7 day count, otherwise there will be a risk of pregnancy, according to the NIH. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irregular bleeding, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I need help, i dnt knw if i should start with red pills or white en am on my periods?

what will happen if you take the pills an hour later, or if you forget to take them at the time you've been taking them every day? ## I've been taking the pill for 2 months and did not have my periods last month. I am 43 years old. ## Hello, Lee! How are you? There is no harm in taking them just an hour or so late. That's nothing to worry about, you've generally got a 12 hour window, before it's considered a late pill. Amber, which one are you taking? Some women do skip their periods while on oral contraceptives. Have you consulted your doctor? Is there a risk of pregnancy? The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, PMS-like symptoms and breakthrough bleeding. ## I have been on microval for 7 years and neve...

I started taking Lo Loestrin FE on Feb. 2nd and it is now Feb. 21st and I have been bleeding non-stop (literally all day, every day). Doctor says to wait it out for 3 months... 3 months of non-stop bleeding? I've heard of breakthrough bleeding but this crazy! ## While I agree that it is crazy and unacceptable, yes, even if it lasts for a long time, continuously, they still consider that to be just breakthrough bleeding. However, you should give it at least a full month, to see if your body adjusts to these pills. If you are still bleeding by the time you start your second pill pack, you should call and insist on a change and if they don't agree, you may want to consider seeing a different doctor. To be honest, there is no reason for a woman to have to put up with it, for that lo...
Hey. I am using oralcon contraceptive pills for more than two months now. I am on my 5th pill for the 3rd month. I started using oralcon after I had a miscarraige in November 2016.
