Best Generic Adderall Brands (Page 18) (Top voted first)

Is the round pink 30 mg Adderall generic name Sandoz/Eon with the markings of CDR 136 on one side more or less effective than the oval orange 30 mg Adderall generic name Barr/Teva with the markings of b974 on one side and 30 on the other side? What is the most effective/potent Adderall that is generic and 30 mg?

so my doctor write me a script for name-brand like we spoke and he did the prior authorization. My insurance company wants me to try several different amphetamine-type drugs first period after that then I can get the brand name. Which I personally believe it's crazy that I have to put my body through a bunch of s*** in order to get what I was originally prescribed. I don't see any sense in that. Jumping through all these hoops.

I have Kaiser and I just filled my prescription for 30mg adderall by Sandoz I don’t choose the manufacturer they’ve just always gave me Sandoz I’ve only been taking it for 2 months so hopefully they don’t switch me up to a diff brand later

I'm taking the Teva Brand. Not bad. Very slow come on and no anxiety like the Teva Generic.

As usual, worked well first few weeks and efficacy flamed out. It does has a sweet taste but nothing like genetic.

SO in nutshell, if it wasn't for the outrageous price I may order again with Doc next week but it certainly is NOT the original formula...but we're running out of options. Thanks for heads up on Mylan...I'll pass.

My Costco carries Mallinckrodt generic. Not sure how it is but other people’s reviews aren’t good. They make my current bottle of dexedrine but it doesn’t feel very strong, lasts about 1.5 hrs tops when it’s suppose to last 4-6hrs. I saw on the fda orange book that Sun, Actavis, Nether, Alvogen Malta, Aurolife (Aurobindo?), Barr, and Epic, hold parents but idk how up to date that information is. Only brand I liked was CORE, it was smooth and would last for a solid 4-6 hrs every time. Aurobindo is absolute garbage. I will NEVER put that poison in my body again. High heart rate, blood pressure, bizarre nervous anxiety that made me feel psychotic and on top of it all, It didn’t do anything for ADD symptoms, it actually made them worse than baseline. Aurobindo pharma is a shady company over in India that’s been in hot water with the fda over quality concerns with their other medications before. I’m tired of us getting taken advantage of. Only way we can combat this crap is if we all complain to our pharmacy and refuse to purchase this Aurobindo garbage. They’ll make a change once they realize their bottom line is taking a hit...

Hi. Just picked up my new Adderall Brand 30 mg from my Doc today. Decided to stick with the Brand.

I had a 10 day Holiday -and that 1st dose today put me in the best mood it was awesome. In addition, caught up on some work that had been slacking.

We all know that Teva/Barr make both the generic and brand. We all know both formulas have been jacked around by Big Pharma but there really is no comparison to the generic and brand. The brand is far superior in its binders and fillers and is not speedy like the generic. It works.

Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover it all but the $100 bucks I have been spending each month on the co-pay -hurts a tad but is well worth my health.

It's not overly strong but gives no headaches or other side effects except the normal appetite suppression and slight dry mouth.

I've tried them all and will be sticking to this and stop playing the monthly July hoop...

To clarify, I am not a Dr nor actively marketing Teva Brand. It works for me but the cost may be prohibitive and that's a shame as we are running out of options!

Generic Sandoz has lactose monohydrate in it and makes my stomach hurt badly. So I do not recommend Sandoz. I can hardly believe there is no longer a decent maker of a brand name Adderall IR. That is ridiculous. What are ADHD patients supposed to do? I don't want to be on Adderall XR.

I don't think I could have said it any better! I live In MA and In August when I found out corpharma discontinued their IR tablets I was devastated. I have been on this medication my whole life and for the last 5 years solid this has been my go to brand. However I have a feeling they will reintroduce it again soon. My brother works at a local pharmacy and he says this happens often. If people would just stop complaining about things they didn't like and stuck with the things they did like we wouldn't be seeing this problem. If you don't like it go to a different store get a different brand don't rag on other brands because there are people out there that rely on their medication to get through the day.

Thank you for providing this !ink! I feel more confident in taking Adderall after reading this I formation. Now, if only I could be given the name brand, which I may request next prescription. I thought at one point that generic Adderall by Teva was bad but I love it compared to the manufacturer, Mallinckbrodt.

The best ones I can find now are Dexedrine from Whilshire. Expensive but good. Used to take teva/Barr's orange 30's but since the formula changed I had to quit them. They are now so bad/poor quality It feels like taking poison and they feel dangerous for the body. Messes with the immune system big time.

I have personally found less side effects with the Santos brand. In the past, like ten years or more ago, Teva Barr had a lot of side effects like agitation and muscle tension that I couldn't tolerate. Recently though, I gave it another try & have found the side effects to be minimal, if any.
I think each person reacts differently to the ingredients.

I just got Teva 30mg in Pittsburgh. I was previously taking Sandoz and didn’t like it. It did not help at all with focus. Got all the same symptoms I get when I’ve taken adderall in the past but did not help me at all with what it needed to. Will be taking Teva for the first time tomorrow so we will see!

I may try vyvance soon or adderall XR. I am getting desperate to feel like myself and would pay well over 100$ per prescription to be able to feel like a normal human being. The Giant Eagle I usually go to now has "SunPharma" (a small yellow pill) which I am terrified to try because Aurobindo (however that generic is spelled) gave me massive headache, abdominal pain, and absolutely no therapeutic effects. I am at a loss.

you should find a local pharmacy mom and pop you can rely that will order whatever you need for a lil money extra....the reason teva/aurbindo are everywhere is the price....but for a mere 3 to 5 dollars more im getting sandoz 30mg ir x60 for $3.45 more than the teva...and my xanax greenstone over all else for 4 dollars and its the brand name authorized generic...aka the same line makes them off the same formula and plant...good luck
