If I take an extra bactrim and have an allergic reaction to it, can I take a benadryl with it? ## Yes, as long as your doctor approves and you aren't also allergic to the Bactrim. As a matter of fact, when I had an allergic reaction to it, that it what my doctor prescribed. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth. My boyfriend was prescribed benadryl and I was given these pills. They told me they were generic benadryl. They are bright pink oblong pills imprinted with s4. ## That is correct, these tablets are manufactured by Himprit Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, which is a generic for Benadryl. Hello, I was diagnosed with Pneumonia 4 weeks ago, tried Zpack it didn't work then I tried Ampicillin it cleared up the Pneumonia but left me with fluid behind the ear drum the pharmacist suggested Benadryl, I do have another bottle of amoxicillin. White, round pill. 54 879 imprint on one side and a line on other side. I have had prescription pain meds for years, I know what bitter is, but this one had a taste so bad I spit it out immediately and it burned slightly. The taste stayed for about fifteen minutes. It also made my other pills smell really bad like a poison bad smell. . It was like nothing I ever smelled or tasted before. This is similar to benadryl or vistaril. It's an older drug and been around a long time like benadryl. It will make u sleepy. It won't cure scabies but it'll help u not to scratch the bumps. Scabies are micro bugs that are kinda like mini ticks that burrow under the skin a suck blood. Be sure u treat all your clothes, furniture, car seats, and bedding. I found a bag of pills in my sons room. The pill is a capsule that is half Purple and half Grey. The purple side has ST-3EF printed in white . The grey side has the numbers 224 over 3850 ( it is printed like a fraction with the 224 on top and the 3850 on the bottom) this is also printed in white. I keep testing positive for benzodiazepines. I do take benadryl to sleep. Can that be why? It was originally an excema cream. I swear by it. I can stand outside and if the wind blows on poison ivy, I get it. If you can use cortisone cream, you should be able to use this. My monthly drug test came back showing benzo. I did take 2 ativan last month for my nerves, having panic attacks at the time. I take benadryl every day and have been trying to figure out why my test came back as benzo. And the ativan i took was at least 2 weeks before drug testing. Now i've been reading about benadryl and how many people had the same problem. Would retesting show this could have happened because of benadryl?

Benadryl dosage is to take 1 or 2, I take 4 or 5 every night. I know it's not good to do but allergies keep coming and my allergist keeps telling me to do what i'm doing right now. Any bad side effect? Is this the reason why I got allergic to 14 medications? Only 4 were alletgy medicines. So I've taken benadryl off and on, especially when I didn't have a prescription for loratadine back in the old days for my allergies, usually one every night. But the other day I took two in the span of three hours. 50 mg. I fell asleep for an hour later, and woke up with muscle weakness, later constipation, frequent urination, and a few others that I'm embarrassed to admit. I'm hoping that the "few others" were just my imagination, because I feel like 50 mg would be physically impossible to produce these side effects in 160 pound person? Or can you suddenly find yourself with a drug allergy? I hope not, because Benadryl is cheap, compared to loratadine which is 1 dollar a day.
