Have you been to a doctor and have you been diagnosed with an STI? You need to contact your doctor and get tested. If you do have an STI then your doctor can give you the proper antibiotic. ## @carealot, Sorry to hear about your situation... But Cats is right that your doctor should be able to prescribe you the appropriate antibiotic based on their diagnosis and a closer evaluation. However, I am finding from my own research that certain antibiotics such as (Azithromycin or Doxycycline) are what's commonly recommended by doctors for treating chlamydia. Hi - Have really been down and out since Memorial day weekend. Though it was the flu - chills, fever, headache and body aches!! I was in bed 4 days before I started feeling a little better. Tried to return to somewhat normal activites as a middle school teacher. Never felt even 50 % back to normal and fever returned, some chills, low energy, sore throat, hoarse voice and worst cough I have ever had. Went to Dr.(Kasier) said probably upper respiratoy infect. No better after another 2 to 3 days homebound resting, cough syrup, hydration. A x-ray yesterday of chest shows heart, lungs, all normal and put me on 250 mg of azithromycin (5 day dosage plan) . Fever still 102 when not taking 800 mg of ibuprofen 3 times a day. Never been this sick for so long. Help, thoughts, I AM OVER THIS!! ## Tu...

I was started on Azithromycin by my Dr. in case I had strep throat but come to find out I have a real bad wisdom tooth infection, which is very painful..The script of Azithromycin is for 5days will this work for my infection in my tooth? ## Hello, Crystal! It may help, but 5 days may not be enough to completely eradicate the infection and it will not correct the underlying cause of the dental infection, so you'll still need to see your dentist, or the infection will keep returning. It's Azithromycin. It usually is a 5 day Rx prescription. Results from it last 4-10 days after prescription is over. I was given it for chronic headaches. If your doctor prescribes you GGD6 for headaches, I would ask for something else. It hasn't worked for me and I'm still getting headaches daily. ## Azithromycin is an antibiotic that's used to treat bacterial infections, it is not something prescribe for headaches. Are you certain that is the medication you're thinking of? Is the ggd6 supposed to be the marking on something or the name of something?

i took the pill at night after dinner and the day after i didn't feel so good i had some stomach problem and i felt like vomit is that a normal reaction ??? should i take 250 instead of the 500 ?? should i keep taking it or stop ??? thanks roy ## Based on my research, stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting all appear to be common side effects of Azithromycin. YOU TAKE IT FOR ONLY 5 DAYS. YOU START WITH TWO AND THEN TAKE THE REST ## ok ## nothing ## Were you possibly referring to a Z-Pak? It's an antibiotic that is available in a 5 day dosing pack, which contains the active ingredient Azithromycin. Since it is an antibiotic, it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, I am not aware of anything at this time that's called a V-Pack, nor have I found any record of there ever being one.
