Azithromycin 500

i took the pill at night after dinner and the day after i didn't feel so good i had some stomach problem and i felt like vomit is that a normal reaction ???
should i take 250 instead of the 500 ??
should i keep taking it or stop ???

Based on my research, stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting all appear to be common side effects of Azithromycin.

To my understanding, most side effects like this won't necessarily go away until you stop taking what's causing them in the first place. However I'd still recommend contacting your doctor first before stopping any medications.
