I was given a white and purple box of generic azithromycin from india, I'm trying to find the manufacturer's name so I can tell my doctor. ## I find it strange that the manufacturer's name wasn't on the box of their own product. Is there a logo of any kind on there that may be of some help? If not, the only other thing I would look for on the packaging is the name of the company from where it was purchased; perhaps even a phone number or address to look up. I would think that the person who gave it to you would have some prior knowledge of where it was bought, no?....Just trying to cover all possibilities here.

Description: round light orange color no markings- Are to be generic for Z-pack. I bought this online from a CAD pharm and these all came from India. The company is indswiftltd.com on there site the do name the tablet but I can find any images. the come sealed in groups of 6 foiled; top of sealed pkg is clear orange, the back is silver foiled with red writing that looks real. Azovid - 250 is to be Azithromycin Tables IP which is listed on package. Has anyone received rx shipped from India? Thanks for your help

I am trying to find the manufacturer of generic zpack, it was made in India and came in a white and purple box. If anyone knows the manufacturer please let me know. ## I was able to find a webpage that "seems" to list all of the Azithromycin brands from India. Can you take nitrofur macro in addition to azithromycin I am on azithromycin for bronchitis. I have a history of fainting since being in my fifties. I have not fainted since 08. I started taking this medication. Have had three doses. Fainted today. How long before the meds are completely out of my system? I am out of the country. I see on the side effects it can cause fainting! I want it out of my system!!!!!! ## I'm sorry, but it may take a few days and there's really no way to make it process out any faster. What is the correct dosage of zithromyacin ## What type of infection is being treated? In most cases, Azithromycin is given in one dose of 500mgs the first day, then 250mgs for 6 additional days, but this can vary if the infection is very severe.

does methadose cut the effectiveness of azithromycin or does Azithromycin cut the effectiveness of methadone? ## Neither, the listed reaction between them has nothing to do with reduced effectiveness. It's actually due to the fact that taking them together increases the risk of prolongation of the QT interval and cardiac arrhythmias. Are there any other questions or comments?

Update--my doctor prescribed azithromycin for my dental exam this month. Everything was fine and happy that I don't have to take amoxycillin since it made me sick. ## Glad your doctor prescribed something that worked better for you. There are actually some findings that show it isn't always necessary to take an antibiotic before a dental procedure, for some conditions. Are there any questions or comments?

Reactions with Azithromycin to dronedrone Malpaq), apo lisinopril, Lipitor??? ## Were they all prescribed by the same doctor? The Azithromycin is generally contraindicated with the Dronedarone, because it increased the risk of QT prolongation and cardiac arrhythmia. I'd really advise checking with your doctor, before taking them together.
