I had little stomach pain. Doctor prescribed telecast F which I am supposed to take for 30 days, twice a day after meals. What is this tablet for? The worst thing is 25 days are over and still I do get stomach pain some times... ## Telekast-F contains the active ingredients: Montelukast 10mg + Fexofenadine 120mg. Montelukast is used to prevent difficulty breathing, chest tightness, wheezing and coughing caused by asthma. Montelukast is also used to prevent bronchospasm (breathing difficulties) during exercise. Montelukast is also used to treat the symptoms of seasonal (occurs only at certain times of the year), and perennial (occurs all year round) allergic rhinitis (a condition associated with sneezing and stuffy, runny or itchy nose). small round white pill cross lines on one side m23 on the other ## round white pill scored one side m23 otherTTWUC ## The round white pill marked with M23 on one side and cross scored on the other is identified as Ephedrine (25mg) + Guaifenesin (100mg); which is a decongestant and expectorant combination used for relieving congestion, cough, and throat and airway irritation due to colds, flu, or hay fever. Because there appears to be very little information on this tablet concerning it's identification, I had to base my finding off of someone else's ID who had the same pill description as yours. Therefore I cannot confirm the accuracy of this match, but I do hope it helps if you had any prior inkling as to what this pill might've been... I'll be sure to post back if I ca...

i have diabetes type 2 are these safe to take ?? ## Hi cathy, Ephedrine is the principal active ingredient in the herb ephedra or effergin. Contraindications for this drug state the following: Ephedrine should be used with caution in patients with inadequate fluid replacement, impaired adrenal function, hypoxia, hypercapnia, acidosis, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, prostatic hypertrophy, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, during delivery if maternal BP > 130/80 mmHg, and lactation. Because diabetes "is" listed above, I would strongly advise discussing the safety of its use with your doctor, as each individual may react differently to it. If you find that you are able to use it, might I ask for what purpose you're using it for? If for weight loss, I find that cont...

I was on Azmacort for 20 years, and now am forced to take Symbicort or Advair which both contain LABA and have been causing some asthma related deaths. Neither one control my asthma like azmacort did. It is a sad story that they have out-lawed CFC inhalers because they harm the environment. Actually, it's quite a laughable situation when it come right down to it. A very survival of the fittest law, I do believe, because hundreds of thousands of people are suffering. The HFA inhalers are a joke and one has no real rescue inhalers. I'm sure it all comes down to the good old mighty dollar which is always at the expense of human life or human quality of life. 'The times they are a changin' as in the prophetic words of good old Bob Dylan. As we swim to keep our heads above wa...

Bronkometer is no longer available in the U.S. It is the only one that works for me. Any info on where I may be able to obtain it? ## I'm sorry, but I am not sure where it is available. The active ingredient in this was Isoetarine, which was mostly replaced by newer medications, that were found to cause less cardiac risks. Which other medications have you tried? ## Bronkometer- I am having the same problem. I am watching my dad deal with breathing issues all the time it was the only that would help fast enough. But ever since the fashion lady od we can't find it anywhere he has tried everysingle alternative please help.

I tried everything, I mean everything and in the pulmonologists office they gave me xopenex in nebulizer. It saved my life. Fla medicaid wont pay for it even after docs asked 3 times. ANY help for me? ## I am not sure what the qualifications for the programs are, some may not help if you have insurance, but it doesn't hurt to call them and check. I found two listed that may help with Xopenex: The Partnership for Prescription Assistance 888-477-2669 and RX Outreach 800-769-3880. Can you please post back and let me know if either one of these can help you? If not, I'll see what else I can find for you. ## Neither one can help me.

i have had 2 patients develop first time psychotic symptoms within 24hrs after taking solphyllex for common cold .they have no prior psychiatric history and negative family history of psychiatric illness.there is no history of substance abuse save for occasional beers.the first patient suffered recurrent psychotic attacks long after the solphyllex was withdrawn.i know theophyllin may cause CNS stimulation but why is this becoming common at usual therapeutic doses? ## I am a member of the public, not in the medical field, but I experienced what my doctor referred to as "a trip" after taking Solphyllex. The reason being that he had earlier prescribed another broncho-dilator containing theophylline and the combined effect of the two sent me into la-la land. It was a horrible experi...

No markings on one side at all & the other side has a line across the middle with GFL above & 25 below the line. ## I can't be completely certain, since finding anything on this imprint has been very difficult, but I did find one place that identified it as being Ephedrine. Can anyone confirm this?

white round pill letter N 25 on the front and 3 line on the back ## Hi Karen, The pill you are describing is a 25mg Ephedrine + 200 mg Guaifenesin tablet, made by PDK Labs. The brand name for this pill is "Two-Way MaxBrand". These do have cross scores on the back. Ephedrine is commonly used as a stimulant, appetite suppressant, concentration aid, decongestant, and to treat hypotension associated with anaesthesia. Guaifenesin is used to relieve chest congestion. An interesting combination of medications in my opinion, but it is what it is. :) For more information about these drugs, please refer to the links below... I hope this helps!

I am on a 2-week schedule and would like to travel around the western states. Also on Medicare. Am stumped on how to schedule with different drs and or hospital infusion rooms. Last travel time I was on once a month and the medicine was shipped to me. I carried it to the administrator and even that was difficult. ## Have you discussed it with your doctor? They may be able to help you coordinate things. Years ago, when I was on allergy shots and was on tour, I was able to just carry the vials with me, then I'd stop in a local walk-in clinic, each week, and just pay them a small fee to administer the shot. My doctor had printed up an instruction sheet to carry with me. ## Dr. wasn't much help. More recently I have spent months in Myrtle Beach. The injection nurse talked with the X...

I was wondering how long something like this would stay in your sytem if taken two- three times a week. So after the last dose, how long would you have to wait for it to leave your system and be undetectable on any kind of test. Thanks ## id like to know how i can buy the eph 25+,thanks ## I'm interested in this topic as I'm convinced that this thermogenic compound is still the best and more convenient medication that can help in weight loss. At the present time, I'm not able to respond to the questions answered, but if I'll succeed in searching for their responses, I'll po...

At the present moment I'm scared out of my mind. For myself & for everyone else out there using this dangerous drug ephedrine. I started using it in 2001 as an energy boost in the form of a diet pill called T 2's. I discovered it was removed because of the danger of stroke. Ya, Ya, whatever. So I found straight ephedrine at a health food store. For the last 3 yrs I have had a major problem with being ridiculously hot & sweat buckets when I exert myself even slightly. I'm a waitress & it's anything but becoming. I have a very difficult time breathing (thought it was my bronchitis) I cant go 30 feet at a fast paced walk without almost passing out. I cough like an idiot about every 4 minutes 24/7 for about 5 yrs now & I cough up liquid not phlem. I've de...

In my opnion you can take Rinostat LM , it gives good relief from cold. Both the drugs are known to reduce cold & are also used in asthma. Levocetrizine is known to be a nonsedative drug hence does not induce sleep. In some patients it may cause little drowsiness.

My 5 year old son takes 5mg singulair, 1t of zurtec and flonase spray every day. We live in michigan and he crues because he cannit breath through his nose. He has asthma as well. Anyone out there with children similar? Finding better success with different drugs in similar situation? ## Have you taken him to an allergist that treats children, or just a regular doctor? At his age, you do have to be very careful with the medications that are used and a specialist will probably be able to provide him with the most assistance in this matter. In spite of what my regular doctor tried, when I was younger, I really got no results, until I was an adult and went to an actual allergist, so I really think you should look into one for him.

My Allergy Dr. wants to start me on Gastrocrom. I have had anaphylaxis x 3, with severe reactions. What is this drug, is it very expensive and what are the major side effects? I was on Singular and was experiencing severe brain fog. ## Gastrocom contains the active ingredient Cromolyn, also referred to as Cromoglicic Acid, which is a mast cell stabilizer, it is commonly used to help prevent food allergies, or allergies to other substances taken internally. The most common side effects are listed as being headache, muscle aches and diarrhea. What where you allergic to that caused the anaphylaxis?
