Don't Do It

At the present moment I'm scared out of my mind. For myself & for everyone else out there using this dangerous drug ephedrine. I started using it in 2001 as an energy boost in the form of a diet pill called T 2's. I discovered it was removed because of the danger of stroke. Ya, Ya, whatever. So I found straight ephedrine at a health food store. For the last 3 yrs I have had a major problem with being ridiculously hot & sweat buckets when I exert myself even slightly. I'm a waitress & it's anything but becoming. I have a very difficult time breathing (thought it was my bronchitis) I cant go 30 feet at a fast paced walk without almost passing out. I cough like an idiot about every 4 minutes 24/7 for about 5 yrs now & I cough up liquid not phlem. I've developed double vision. My heart is doing crazy things like fluttering, skipping beats, palpitations. 3 weeks ago at work I got extremely dizzy. The room was melting, like a water colour that was sprayed with water. The floor started moving. My muscles ache all the time. My at one time excellent memory has vanished. Last week I was watching American Greed and the subject was about a greedy Dr. who knowingly put this dangerous substance into diet pills. I never saw the end, as I immediately hit my p.c. to gather info. I have 95% of the side effects and its a wonder I'm still alive. One woman on that program died from the use of ephedrine. They called it, "death by drowning" Remember, I cough up liquid. I've been taking about 4 pills a week, sometime 2 in a day, depending on how tired I am and what kind of day I have to contend with at work. Multiply that by 12 yrs. I'm 57 & I doubt I'll make it to 60. I've never told a Dr. I take it, didnt think I needed to. I havent been to a Dr. as yet about this new info, I'm scared of what I may hear. But I will. PLEASE, PLEASE, anyone reading this, please take this seriously. Whatever reason you are using it, it is not worth suffering & dying for. My only hope that the side effects I have are reversible. However there is nothing that I've read so far suggesting it is. Please throw the garbage away. If I get close to death, I will sue the crap out of these people & hope to God it may stop anyone else from having there life ruined.

Yes, you really should see your doctor, as soon as possible and explain that you've been taking it, as well as the symptoms you are having.

Some of them may go away, if you stop taking it, but you may have already done some permanent cardiovascular damage.
