Here are a few tips that can lead you in the right direction... Omega 3 fatty acid can reduce inflammation and help prevent risk factors associated with chronic diseases like heart disease, cancer, and arthritis. If I were to set up a diet plan for you I would urge you to have a source of Omega 3 at least a few times a day in order to subdue any inflammation or arthritis. I have been taking lentogesic caps for about 8 years now. 2 three times a day. Part of my rheumatoid arthritis treatment. With them been taken off the market what can i take and must I wean myself off them. ## Have you contacted your doctor to discuss an alternative? Lentogesic contained Dextropropoxyphene and Paracetamol, it is a mild narcotic analgesic and it was removed from the market due to the fact that Dextropoxyphene and its derivatives have been shown to be cardiotoxic. And, as with any medication, even if you aren't abusing it, your body does get used to having it and a sudden cessation may cause withdrawal symptoms and rebound pain. There are, however, other medications on the market that you can try, but only your doctor can help you decide which ones are safe for you. #...

i want to know y use this medicn ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. I was however able to locate some information on the medication. Osteoarthritis is one of the primary indications for this drug. Other uses may include dental & gynecological pain. Hope this helps! ## thanx. it really helped me but i want to know some more details about its use ## I found out that the ingredients in this pill are Piroxicam + Cyclodextrin. I am 32 yrs, I had knee pain and ortho doctor suggested me Glucosamine + Diacerein Tablets for a month - Am I a patient of arthritis ? I am too young, How long should I continue the medicine ? ## Have you asked your doctor about what they think is causing the problem and how long you should take the medication? They are the only ones that will really be able to advise you on this. Athritis, however, is possible at any age, there are people even younger than you that suffer from it. The Glucosamine is a substance that naturally occurs in your joints, so supplementing it may help. The Diacerein is often given to treat arthritis, but it isn't used in the U.S., so the information we have on it is very limited. ## Thanks a lot, I am improving though not recovered fully. I do have access ...

on 21st September I was prescribed Indomethacin @ 50mg x 4 a day - two days ago at night while in bed I suddenly found that when I turned in bed I had a uncontrolled motion sensation in my head and felt sort of dizzy and feel very strange as if things were still moving for a few seconds. There is no recent head trauma or alcohol association with this, no changes in diet. I feel certainly unsettled and without a clear head - no headaches though ## Tanganil contains the active ingredient Acetylleucing, which is used to treat Vertigo. Unfortunately, since it is not used in the U.S. I don't have much other information on it. Has your doctor advised you to use it?

yellow long pill with a split in the middlewith an ononrside 513 on the other ## The closest match I could locate under this description is an oblong yellow pill with the marking 513 on one side and blank on the other side; however there is no score line on the blank side. The pill I located is Meloxicam (15 mg). Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, used to relieve the symptoms of arthritis, primary dysmenorrhea, fever; and as an analgesic. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... Hopefully someone else on here has this pill in hand and can confirm its identity if this doesn't sound like the pill you have.

I took 2 Meloxicam (15mg) instead of one by mistake. ## Have you contacted your doctor? The maximum daily daily recommended dosage is just 15mgs and taking more, might potentiate the side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness and headache. It also increases the risk of liver and stomach damage, which are effects you may not notice any symptoms for right away. So, you should consult your doctor, just to be on the safe side.
