I am taking meloxicam for a new onset of RA. Is meloxicam equivalent to Rumoquin Nf? ## No, they are not the same. Meloxicam is just that, that is the active ingredient and it's a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used to treat pain, fever and swelling. I am 38 years old. I have pain and stiffness and swelling in my both knees and also pain on the tip of ulna near wrist of left hand. I have also pain in my left clavicle. I m HLA-B27 positive. I have taken allopathic and ayurvedic medicines. But no relief. suggest me what should I do? Is it Arthritis or Ankylosing spondylitus. What is the difference between these diseases. I have been advised knee replacement since 2005 but my Gym exercises and sports , albeit pain 24*7 doesn't allow it since I'm just 61 years old and quite healthy. Pl tell me how Orcerin GM Glucosamine Sulphate potassium Chloride, MSM & Diacerein Tabs are to be consumed .eg. with water / food / tea . Also, before / with / after food , how many a day and precautions like not taking after liquor consumption. Please compare it with Seven Seas Max Strength , which is expensive in the Euro market but has several other ingrd. like Omeage 3,6,9 , Collager, Minerals. I have heard that prolonged used of Meloxicam 7.5 can cause liver problems...is this so? and how long is prolonged use?? I take this med for osteoarthritis and have had no difficulties with it over the past year. ## Meloxican 7.5 MG was perscribed for me as relief for bursitis. The prescription is to be taken 1 month. After reading the 'side affects list' I am afraid to take it. What is experience others have had with this med. My bhips are not really bad with pain so should I wait til the pain is more severe before taking this med? My doctor has ordered this medication as I have cartalage deteration. My insurance says it is Indomethacin and is an over the counter vitamin. Please explain what it is. ## Where are you located? Without knowing this, I have no idea what the classifications are for the country you are in. For example, in the U.S. Diacerien is not even available, the U.S. FDA has not found it to be significantly effective at treating anything, because it showed effects only slightly higher than that of a placebo. And in the U.S. Indomethacin is a prescription only nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, which is used to treat pain fever and swelling and it is not the same as Diacerein, at all.

diacereina 25 mg is the drug I am researching .What type of drug is it? Is it over the counter? Is it a vitamine? ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. Based on my limited findings, Diacereina is also known as Diacerein; (a name which may help provide more search options for your research). Meloxicam also appears to be related to this medication; quite possibly the U.S. brand name for it, but I haven't found info to prove this. As such, it is claimed to help with improving joint function, but this has not actually been proven. They make it sound good. For certain people the ingredients might supply something that missing and helps your condition. If it is $55 a bottle, they probably based that on being only a partial of what it would cost to buy the ingredients separate and amounts you would be purchasing. The Online website is for ArthriD3, and is stating they just haven't setup online selling yet. I would try it at $5.00 per bottle, not $55.00 ## It made a new woman out of me. Hello, I am diagonised for sero negative arthritis, my doctor has adviced me to take SAZO 500 (2 tablets/day). I am taking this tablet since September 2010. Please advice if this tablet is safe as am worried about the side effects. Thanks in advance. ## Sazo 500 contains Sulfasalazine, it is used as an anti-inflammatory.
