Hi. I took Meloxicam 15mg tablet for 14 days. it was a white round pill. Doc told me not to take Advil with it but I could take Tylenol. I took the last pill 48 hours ago. How long before I can take Advil? ## Hello, Pearl! How are you? The reason he told you not to take Advil with it is because both it and Meloxicam are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications, so taking them together would be doubling up and raises the risk of possible liver damage and bleeding. However, only a few days are necessary between them to safely switch. None of them linger that long. Unless your doctor specifies otherwise. Is there anything else I can help with?

what is this and is it good for my foot I dropped a hurricane window on it and I have a bruised bone? ## This is something specially ordered by a doctor and compounded by a pharmacy that is intended to be used topically to treat pain or skin conditions. Flurbiprofen and Diclofenac are both nonsteroidal anti-ifnlammatories, Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant, Lidocaine is a topical anesthetic, Betamethasone is a steroid. However, I am not totally sure what the pentox and bupiv are, but your pharmacist should be able to tell you. Since it's used topically side effects are usually minimal and just include some skin irritation. Does anyone else recognize those 2 ingredients?

Express Scripts is telling me they cannot get Meloxicam 15mg from the manufacturer. Is there a problem? ## Hello, Skyblue! How are you? How are you and your husband? Celebrex does not contain Aspirin, it is just in the same drug family, so it can cause the same risks. There are many other analgesic options available, but with that blood clot and his health, only his doctor is going to be able to tell what he can and cannot safely take. What options did his doctor offer? ## Hi, For back/neck pain I think your husband should consider seeing a chiropractor for treatment. I don't know where you're from, but if you're anywhere near Centreville, VA... there's a good place call...

Enbrel induced- Optic Neuritis-Hi everyone, I am 29 years old and took Enbrel for 2 1/2 year (from 2010-2013). I had to discontinue use because I developed optic neuritis. IN the past 15 months my vision has worsened. My latest eye scan showed that I have lost 25% vision in my right eye and 10% vision in my left, IN 1 YEAR, due to the Enbrel induced ON. Please get your eyes checked if you are taking a biologic!!! Most biologics are associated with ON. Symptoms start as dull to sharp eye pain, vision changes, and head aches. Very important!!! The vision loss I have experienced in permanent but if you catch it early on it can be reversible. -------Much Love-----Elisabeth ## Hi, I am 52 years old, have had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was 12 yrs old. I was prescribed Mobic and plaquenil about a month ago. I ran out of Mobic a couple of days ago...I now have a rash that has taken over my body. Plaquenil can have a side effect of a rash...maybe I am just now getting the rash, now that it has had time to build up in my body? I am wondering if the Mobic drug helped to set off the side effect of rash when taking plaquenil or if that was a coincidence? Or perhaps the rash is caused by something else all together? ## Hello, Lanne! How are you? It is hard to say with certainty, though it could still be the Plaquenil, because some side effects may take 4 or more weeks to appear, once it reaches its full efficacy level in your body. It would be best to have it checked out to be sure. Are you on any other medications?
