I have acute Sciatica & also have a heart condition. Will Coxflan relieve the Sciatica pain & will there be any problem with my heart condition? I am 71 & battling with the back & leg pain. For acid reflux I was administered with Topzole today. Some 9hours later I started itching under the armpits. A few years ago I had a similar reaction after taking some medication - however I do not recall what I took. It was so severe that I was given cortisone. Does Topzole have this effect on individuals? In the previous instance I came out in little bumps. So far TG no bumps just unpleasant itching. I have taken celestamine to combat the itch. Could it be Topzole? ## Hello, Susie! How are you? I was born in 1942 and used Mazon from when I was 7 or so until I was in my late teens and the first cortisone ointment became available -- tiny amount for a high price and wonderful performance. When I was using Mazon I was using a huge amount, as I had horrible rash over much of my body for long periods, and sometimes secondary infections. Mazon did seem to reduce the itching and the rash. Is there a difference between 7.5 MG Tab zyd And just 7.5 MG? ## Hi Teresa, Based on my research, "zyd" apparently stands for the manufacturer (Zydus Pharmaceuticals USA) and should correspond with a National Drug Code of 68382-050. I guess on some labels pharmacies feel the need to include the name/abbreviation of the company who makes it, as a secondary means of reference.. Especially since so many people are now coming to terms with the fact that certain manufacturers produce better quality meds than others. I hope this info helps!

have sprained my ankle and need to relieve pain able to walk but it aches may I take zerodol tablet to relieve pain or meloxicam tablets please advise ## Hi Riyaz, sorry to hear about your sprained ankle. Regarding your question on which one to take... both Meloxicam and Zerodol are classified as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; which are widely used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. Based off that information you could probably get by using either one to help provide at least some amount relief from the pain. However because these are prescription meds, I'd still recommend talking with your doctor first just to play it safe. Hope this helps!

I just wanted you all to know that I am the one prescribed medrol dose pack 4 mg for the cough and fluid in lungs that would not clear up. Everyone told me that by day 4 of being off of that 1 dose pack ( that I did not complete) I would be back to normal and it should all be out of my system. They were wrong. It is now 10 days after I took the last pill I was willing to take of that pack. I feel the most normal today that I have so far. It has been a really rough almost 2 weeks, but I made it through. Hope this helps some of you. No one could give me a timeframe for the meds getting out of my system. It has taken at least the 10 days for me. I need pain Meds folks. It's that simple. I'm no addict. I've been suffering from severe Osteo arthritis for years and my doctor recently retired and now I'm stick dead in the water with no pain Meds. I was taking 5/325 oxy. No doctor will prescribe them now due to crackdowns and whatnot. Can anyone offer advice?? meloxicam is taken instead of advil. it is used like advil or tylenol or alieve. it should work the day you take it. it should not take days or weeks fr you to notice a difference in pain levels. i take it daily along with my other pain medications,, and if i forget it the narcotic meds do not even work as well. they are both necessary ## Hello, Allison! I started with Coxflam, described by my doctor, this morning for pain in my hip. Tonight I discover that my face and neck is red and felt swollen. I also have a head acke. I am on cronic medicine for high blood presure. Is this symptoms from the Coxflam? ## Hello, Purdy! How are you? I have lupus, neropathy, severe arthritis, osteoporosis and ten days ago had 3 herniated discs from my neck. My doctor wont perscribe meds anymore but cant get to pain clinic until august. However, the days of doctors being able to prescribe like that are gone. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require long-term, ongoing treatment for chronic pain, you'll need to see a specialist. The best thing to do would be to set yourself up with a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?

I have arthritis everywhere, especially in the ankle, and also osteoporosis. For the osteoporosis I am 67yrs. I am taking Alendronic Acid once a week and have done for 4 yrs. For arthritis I take one each of the following daily (and have done for years):- one Glucosamine Sulphate, one Omega 3, one Zaldiar tablet and one Beline capsule. It seemed to work well for me except for severe hourly nightime lower leg cramps which obviously prevent me from sleeping. A month ago, I suspended all medication and have been in terrible joint pain and feel awful, however, the leg cramps stopped overnight. I now know that it is the Beline capsules which give me the severe cramps as I started to take them again yesterday. I need to know if there is a successful alternative to Beline?
