I have extreme anxiety and have been on Xanax for some time. I just moved to Charlotte and can not find a dr that will help. Does anyone know of a doc that wont treat me like some type of drug addict for asking for help that works! ## You have been on it for some time. Why did you not bring some with? I have had panic attacks for about 22 years. My first was when I was nine. I've been prescribed 2mg 4 times a day and my prescription hasn't run out but I'm having a hard time finding a doctor that I will prescribe benzos. I simply can't make the drive to the old doctor anymore because it's so far away and we totalled our truck. Can anyone please help? I've been on this dose for quite some time now and need a doctor asap before I run out. ## Two mg 4 times a day is a dose that many Doctors wouldn't feel comfortable prescribing. I accidentally took a Xanax on Sunday and thought it was a different pain pill I'm prescribed. I am having a blood drug test on Friday. Will I be ok? I have read that it takes at best 48hrs to not show up in the blood. Is this the truth? ## You're not fooling anyone by saying you accidently took a xanax but you shouldn't worry about telling anyone that because you won't need to. It will be out of your blood at max 48 hours. Just drink a lot of water (at least a gallon, im not talking about one glass) and sweat if you are worried about it.

I recently failed a urine drug screen for Benzos but don't take anything but my prescription meds. Any chance these meds caused a false positive? ## Hello Coop. Have you discussed it with your doctor? You may need to try a lower dose. What about the 3mg blue pyramid shaped xanax - Has anyone tryed these? I think the are name brand with a 3 on one side and a X on the other. I started using cymgen60 two months ago, to treat deppresion and anxiety. It was ok until I started to have these flu like symptoms i.e blocked nose, dry throat and mouth. My GP gave me nasal decogastant but it is not working. It helps for ten minutes, then I'm back to square one. I am prescribed three xanax 1mg per day and recently I took 1 mg at 12 midnight and another one at 2pm! After work on the way home around 6pm I had a wreck and the officer thought I had been drinking and I told him I had taken a xanax and was arrested for dwi! I got my blood results which shows a .07 blood level on a xanax which I have no clue what it means and am facing jail time! I'm on nuzak 20 for about 4 years now I found that it was not effective anymore so now I take one in he morning and one at bed time, I'm getting scared that this will end up very harmfull but I cannot control my temper without the nuzak since I started to take at bed time as well it's going better ## Hello, Leon! It isn't harmful to take 2 doses a day, I am on the same medication and split mine up that way, as well, with my doctor's approval, because it gives me better control of the anxiety and OCD symptoms that I was experiencing from perimenopause. My dr has me on 2 Xanax (.5 mg) pluse 80 mg of oxicodone 80 mg divided 4 Xdaily. I ran out and have Xanax and tramadol...is this dangerous? ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? How can I quater a green bar? They only break into 3's? ## These bar shaped pills are generally only meant to be broken into 3's. In this case you'd probably have to measure out your own lines before cutting it into four sections. Alternatively, I would suggest discussing this "dosage issue" with your doctor, so that you don't have to keep cutting your pills into four sections in order to get a small enough dose. From what I could tell, there are plenty of different dosage options available for Xanax. You may want to consider switching over to lesser strength if breaking the pill becomes too much of a hassle. I've filled my xanax prescription overseas before and always received pex-2 which really work for me. Today I received warnax-1. Does anyone know anything about these? I'm 62 & my stress affects me physically now. Severe stress can cause my blood pressure to zoom up to 150/100. Also valium works great for pain if I have. a painful arthritic attack. These doctors want to prescribe stuff like neurontin which I am very leary of.

I have been using Zanor SR 0.5mg for Anxiety and now my psychiatrist has given me Epleptin 100mg to take and so I am taking both Zanor and Epleptin in the morning and Epleptin again at night. My Dr wants to try and get me off Zanor as it is addictive but feel like since I have been taking Epleptin with the Zanor I have felt more anxious and was feeling much better without Epleptin. I have been purchasing Xanax online for years now but lately I have noticed that the drugs mailed to me are either extremely weak or plain fake. Today I received 30 2 miligram alprazolam pills that seem to have some effect but they do not seem like the ones I use to get. This is very frustrating.
