I am taking 2mg Ativan for insomnia. I wake up very dizzy and I feel like that till mid afternoon. What can I do

It sounds like you may be on too high of a dosage. Have you discussed it with your doctor? You may need to try a lower dose.

This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Did you try Melatonin? Or Valerian root.. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valerian_(herb)

Stay away from drugs ending on - Pam. They are benzodiazepines...and may ruin your life with addiction and foggy brain.
