Medical aid wants me to change chronic meds. I'm bipolar and are on Lamitor 300mg, Dopaquel 200mg and Venlor 225mg. They want me to use in their words a "cheaper" medicine like seroquel instead of Venlor despite motivational letters from my psyhiatrist. He is after all the treating specialist that walked a long way with me in getting the right combination that works. I have been on many different ones until I settled with these meds. They refuse to pay for the venlor even though i use the generic efegen. I'm already on Dopaquel which is the same as the Seroquel, in other words it would be a duplication. I don't think this is fair it is after all a PMB condition. Will it have the same effect if I change the meds. I don't want to but would like to know if somebody h...

Does it cause any reaction if ELICIA 4 mg is taken with Oliza 10mg/pd and Risperdal 4md/pd? My eye balls move upward and I am not able to see below ## No. When you take an ELICIA 4 MG tab then there is no required reason to take it with liza 10mg/pd and risperdal 4md/pd, because Elicia is better than these other molecules. If u have any other information then contact me. {edited for privacy}. ## Based on my research, there actually are drug interactions listed between Risperdal (Risperidone) and Oliza (Olanzapine). I haven't seen anything related to how you described your eye balls moving upward; but using these two drugs together may increase side effects such as blurred vision, drowsiness, dry mouth, heat intolerance, flushing, decreased sweating, difficulty urinating, abdominal c...

Hi everyone who is reading this message. I have been taking Risperidole for about 5 1/2 years now. I am currently taking 2mg of Risperidole and 100mg of Seroquel and 20mg of Lexapro. Can anybody tell me how I wean myself off the Risperidole As I want to have a baby and don't want to be on any medications that will affect the baby. I heard weaning off one medication at a time is the right way to go. Can anybody tell me, do I reduce the medication down to 1mg as I am on 2mg at the moment? Also how long should I be on the 1mg before reducing it down to 0.5mg? Thanks anyone for your input into my question, hope my question makes sense. Thanks again everyone.

I have been taking the generic for Seroquel 400mg, Quetiapine Fumarate, for over a year. It treats my depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Two weeks ago I received a generic made by Accord. That first night I barely slept and my insomnia didn't improve. Also, my symptoms of depression, anxiety, and poor concentration returned. I called the pharmacist but he said I had received the correct medication. I went to my Dr. because I was having a major relapse of symptoms. He suggested I try a generic manufactured by a different company. So, I did, and wouldn't you know, I slept like a baby. This recurrence of symptoms has been difficult. I work for a bank and I can't make mistakes. For the last two weeks, due to poor concentration, I have been making lots of them. I am happy that I ...

I've more or less gotten used to the side effects but about three years ago I was diagnosed with FOCAL DYSTONIA. I'm being treated for it by botox inj's. 4 months ago i started taking the original risperdal instead of the generic and now i am fully functional and the dystonia is (for now) almost gone. The doctors ive consulted with cant or wont tell me if there is a connection and i would like that if anyone had or has the same experience wiil tell me so i would know for sure if i found a solution for the DYSTONIA i have which is apparently because of the medication im taking. I just started taking this medication and the day I got prescribed it my cousin had passed away the night before and I was really close to her. I took Saphris that night and it almost feels like my emotions were turned off. I mean I still miss her and it still hurts but the anxiety the constant crying the constant thoughts of her are gone. Has anyone else had similar experiences? ## Yes, that can be a side effect of this medication, as reported by the FDA, and other users. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings, and weight changes. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
