hi , I've been on zoloft 50mg for 10 years in the morning, 3 yrs ago i was put on trepaline 45mg for evening to help me sleep not problems exept weight gain- i'm not allowed any medication that belongs to the group which zolpidem belongs to. 2 months ago i was diagnosed with Stage 1 hypertension , so am on 25mg carloc morning and night & 5mg ramiwan in the morning, for 2 months now i have been battling with the most terrible side effects, also have battled to stabalize my blood pressure. I have heard and read that some anti-depressants can cause women to start producing milk - is this a side effect of adco-alzam 0,25mg? ## This it not an antidepressant, it is a benzodiazepine that is used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. The NIH warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Are you on any other medications?

I want to know if 10mg of Urbanol + 150mg of Epitc + 500mg of Dopaquel + 100mg Prozac can cause weight gain? ## Yes I will cause weight gain because it makes u eat alot at night when u take your medication ill rather be fat and happy then skinny en depro lol ## The Epitec and Dopaquel can both cause increased appetite and weight gain, as side effects, along with nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and headache. I usually put my Lexapro tablet in my back pocket before taking with dinner. Recently I found a tablet in my pocket which I guess I forgot to take at some point. The same week I had noticed feeling some of my old symptoms back after feeling ok for some weeks I'm wondering if missing one tablet could have caused that relapse ? For example, does the tablet I take today help me for the next 24 hours ? Or is its affect less direct and more cumulative over time ? Hope somebody understands my question ! ## Hello, Fred! I have been on this medicine for 5 weeks. 2 weeks at 5mg and 3 weeks at 10mg. As soon as I started taking it I noticed it affected my sleep. It pretty much put me into a manic state and was up for over 30 hours before I even felt like I wanted to go to sleep. I switched to taking it earlier in the day and that helped with the sleep but has made the nausea almost unbearable. I take it with food, drink plenty of water, pretty much have tried everything I can think of. I'm also not noticing an improvement in my symptoms. I struggle even more to get out of bed. I snooze my alarm for almost 2 hours every morning because I just can't get out of bed and feel exhausted. Not sure if this is the medicine for me. ## How are you doing now? I stopped taking celexa (citalopram) just 3 days after starting it. Is it all out of my system yet? By the way I'm a 200 and something pound woman. ## How long ago did you stop taking it? I took 80mg brand name Lexapro for several years and it was a great experience. I had no adverse side effects besides it keeping me a bit more on the manic side, but i liked that. Dare i say i felt as close to happy as i ever had. During some difficult financial times my doc suggested i try the much cheaper Celexa (citalopram) which he claimed was absolutely interchangeable with Lexapro. It wasn't. It didn't do a godamn thing for me. I gave it a couple months then asked for my Lexapro back, but again decided to go the cheaper route and get the generic. What a nightmare! Look, folks: You cannot talk about a generic buproprion without determining its manufacturer. There are quite a few generics out there, but it makes no sense to ask questions about a pill's appearance: name its manufacturer instead and then get your discussions going. ## Actually, the appearance can help determine the manufacturer, since some of them look different, but the markings/imprint must be included in the details. Hi, I turned 50 in Aug 16 and started having hot flushes about a year ago. They occured once or twice an hour each day over a period of about 5 weeks. They would then disappear for 2-3 months. The flushes caused me to feel an overwhelming heat from top to toe and my whole body would become wet and droplets would appear on my face. This would last about a minute or two and then I'd be back to normal. I teach adults so this was somewhat embarrassing during lessons. My friend got this pill for back pain. It has 2102 on one side and a V on the other. They are round in shape. ## This tablet is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 25mgs of Amitriptyline, which is an antidepressant that is also sometimes used to treat nerve pain. I am 46 and have been taking SSRIs for around 20 years. Tried at least 4-5 of them. I am so sick of all the side effects. You get rid of one aspect of a mental problem and find out the med causes a new problem of its own. I went on Effexor for awhile and didn't like it cognitively, so I am looking for something else. I guess the major things I'm looking to get away from are sexual side effects and weight gain and sleepiness. I tried Zoloft, and instantly couldn't climax. Got off it in 2 weeks. I saw Viibryd is one of the SSRIs with the least sexual side effects, so thought I'd go for it. I think it might be causing dry mouth. I want to know what these pills are: A white and round pill with the number 433 and a brown capsule with the numbers 0813. 75mg. ## Hello, Larry! How are you? The capsule with TEVA 75mg 0813 on it is listed by Teva Pharmaceuticals as containing 75mgs of Nortiptyline, which is an antidepressant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and weight changes. Does the one with the 433 on it also have PLIVA on it? If so, Pliva lists it as containing 50mgs of Trazodone, which is another antidepressant that is also used to treat insomnia. It's side effect profile is very similar to the previously mentioned medication.

I was on Viibryd for almost a year and felt like it wasn't working anymore so my dr switched me to Wellbutrin. How long before I know if it's right for me? It's been 4 days and I feel horrible. ## At this time, you are most likely experiencing withdrawal effects from the Viibryd, as well as side effects from starting the Wellbutrin, which the NIH lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, anxiety, insomnia, diarrhea, and dry mouth. It usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks for your body to adjust, so things settle down and you discover how much the new medication will help you. Has there been any change?

So I have been on Lexapro 10mg for a few years and I didnt feel as if it was helping me at all. Plus I was always tired and gaining weight. My doctor suggested switching to wellbutrin. He told me to take a 150mg wellbutrin and lower my Lexapro dose to 5mg for 2 weeks, then to take 300mg wellbutrin and stop Lexapro. I am almost at the 2 week make and I feel like I have so many side effects and I don't know if it's withdrawal or the new meds, or a combo of both, or maybe I am getting sick? I have headaches, nausea, loss of appetite, lightheaded, out of it, dry mouth, stomach pain, gas, jittery, and heart palpitations at times. Imipramine - Why am I not able to get this drug anymore? I have been on it since 1989, 100mg at night. I have been off it now for over two weeks, I see no withdrawal symptoms. ## @Shirley, It's amazing to hear that you're not experiencing any sort of withdrawal symptoms after being on an antidepressant for over 25 years and abruptly stopping treatment. I started Doxepin about 3 weeks ago to help me sleep. I went to the doctor because I was dizzy. Thought it was vertigo but it was a sinus infection. The dizziness should be gone by now. The only change in meds is the Doxepin. How long does it take to get it out of my system? ## Hello, Laura! How are you? I am sorry about the problem you're experiencing. Generally, they are transient and should go away, once your body gets used to the medication, but that may take about 4 to 5 weeks. Were you also on an antibiotic for the infection? Most of them can also cause dizziness as a side effect.

I have been taking generic Venlafaxine from Tega Pharma for the past 5 years and have had no issues. My pharmacy is now using the Aurbino manufactured version. I had an extream adverse reaction and nearly ended up in the ED. I was basically going through withdrawal. I reported the event to both the drug company and FDA. Please report any issues you are having to the FDA. I found a pharmacy that had the Tega brand and I was back to normal within a day.
