I've moved from 15mg to 30mg and although the sleepiness subsided quite quickly after beginning the 15mg, the restless legs I have got since taking the 30mg is not subsiding and driving me insane. As advised I take the tablet at night, go to bed as per usual shattered and looking forward to sleep, only to find I am kept up for a minimum of three hours by restless legs. Is there anything I can take to reduce the effect of the restless legs - painkillers etc, that is safe to take alongside Miratazapine???

I stopped taking imipramine 3 days ago due to unacceptable side effects, which made it not possible to taper the withdrawal (was taking 100mg for 8 weeks prior to cessation). I am having a bad time - nausea, headache, upset stomach, general malaise, vivid dreams and sleepiness. I am struggling to get up and stay awake; I feel so rough... Has anyone had the same experience and can anyone tell me how long I should expect this to go on for please? ## Poor you! I have taken 2 years to reduce from 150mg to 85mg as I have a very understanding doctor. The first week after each reduction is the worst and to help me through this my doc prescribes 12 x 2mg diazepam (no more than that as they are very addictive), I usually take one in the morning then see how the day goes. Couldn't have done i...

Wow! I had NO idea what I was in for with this medication. If anything is too good to be true... it usually is! I started this medication back in September for fibromyalgia symptoms. It was like a miracle. The day after I took it, I woke up almost pain-free and without the "fibro-fog" I had had for the past 10 years. Well, to make a long story short, I joined a gym recently, and began thinking more of the holistic approach to pain management. The side effects of Cymbalta, although I have never experienced any of them except the difficulty sleeping, scared me (especially the liver damage). I had already decided to stop Cymbalta, when my lovely insurance company decided it didn't want to cover it anymore and I would have to pay $200 a month if I wanted to continue it. Well, to ...

My doctor says these meds are part of the same family therefore I can easily transition from the 75mg dose of Zoloft to 75mg on Effexor. What difference should I be noticing? Or any other useful info I can get? ## They are NOT THE SAME FAMILY. Your Dr. is either ignorant or a liar. Zoloft is an SSRI, Effexor is an SNRI. ## Jeff is correct! You may experience some withdrawal symptoms that could include rebound depression, anxiety, body aches/pain and diarrhea, when you make the switch. You may also experience side effects from the new medication that could include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth, as reported by the FDA. You may be miserable for a couple of weeks, but things should settle down, once your body adjusts. Is there anything else I can help with? ## it varies from per...

I've recently started bupropion, it's been a few weeks. I think I experienced every single side effect the drug had over the first few days but all is good now. I'm not depressed, nor do I have anxiety. I was actually hoping that maybe it'd make me happier but it hasn't done a single thing to my mood or drive; positive or by negative. I started taking it to quit smoking and I really enjoy it more than chantex as the drug makes me make the decision to stop smoking. It's decreased my cravings and side effects of quitting. I've noticed also that I have a dramatically reduced urge to drink. Even if I begin drinking I don't over do it, but typically I just have no interest in drinking. I find this amazing because, not that I'd admit it publicly, but I thin...

The tablet with the IG 250 marking contains 10mgs of Escitalopram, the active ingredient in Lexapro, so he has received the correct medication. It's just manufactured by a different company. It is normal for a pharmacy to provide a different generic upon occasion, when another company was offering a cheaper price, when they needed to restock their supply. It's how they keep prices down for their uninsured customers. Learn more Lexapro details here. This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight changes. I started 5-10mg brintellix 2.5 months ago switched from lexapro. After 6 weeks dr switched to 20 mg. i have been on 20mg for 5weeks. I wake up drenched in sweat. Flu like symptoms for week now. Between the night sweats, day sweats, flushing, flu like symptoms I cant take this. I called the dr. Ask him to wean me off. I am scared. Trintelllix is causing mood swings as well. All this time, I thought I was sick, but its the trintellix. Has anyone else experienced night sweats, horrible profuse sweating during the day, chills, flushing from trintellix? ## Those can be side effects of this medication, as listed by the FDA, along with blurred vision, unusual dreams, and loss of libido. Costco switched generics on me. I have been taking MYLAN Buprpion 300XL for years. They switched to ACTAVIS and I feel gross and have a metallic taste in my mouth. Costco is no help and I have called around and haven't found a pharmacy that carries MYLAN. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

I found a small white tablet with 5589 on one side, score on the other side and DAN DAN on each side of the score. It's about 10 years old. Can someone tell me what it is? ## @Eli, I located a round white pill with 5599 on one side and scored on the other with DAN DAN on each side of the score. This particular pill is identified as a 100mg Trazodone hydrochloride tablet, which is in the drug class of antidepressants. For verification, the size of this pill is approximately 11.00 mm. It also carries a National Drug Code of 00591-5599 and was reportedly manufactured by Watson (a company that no longer exists due to acquisitions by Actavis and more recently Teva). With this information in mind I would question if the 8 on your pill is actually 9? Hope this helps!

I have been on Lexamil 20mg for about 2 months now (started at 5mg and increased slowly) and unless I take it with Aterax at night then I battle to fall asleep. I also find that I have vivid dreams that leave me exhausted in the morning. Lexamil has made me feel better except for this. Should these side effects stop if I take the Lexamil in the morning? ## Have you discussed it with your doctor? Lexamil contains the active ingredient Escitalopram and some doctors do direct it to be taken at night, since it can cause drowsiness as a side effect, but some people do much better taking it in the morning. When is the last time the dosage was increased? That may also have something to do with the side effects, as it can take several weeks for them to start to taper off and it's natural to...
