Severe Nausea

I have been on this medicine for 5 weeks. 2 weeks at 5mg and 3 weeks at 10mg. As soon as I started taking it I noticed it affected my sleep. It pretty much put me into a manic state and was up for over 30 hours before I even felt like I wanted to go to sleep. I switched to taking it earlier in the day and that helped with the sleep but has made the nausea almost unbearable. I take it with food, drink plenty of water, pretty much have tried everything I can think of. I'm also not noticing an improvement in my symptoms. I struggle even more to get out of bed. I snooze my alarm for almost 2 hours every morning because I just can't get out of bed and feel exhausted. Not sure if this is the medicine for me.

How are you doing now? Has there been any change?

It usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks for such a medication to reach its full level of efficacy in your body, according to the NIH, and side effects are usually transient, they tend to go away, once your body gets used to the medication.

If there still hasn't been any improvement, it might not be the right medication for you and you may need to try something else.
