I have been taking these two drugs together for monts-now i feel my breathing is not right. ## What you might be having a problem with is the fact that both of these medications can cause Central Nervous System Depression and when used together, in some people, they can aggravate each other and make this side effect much more pronounced and breathing can be one of the things affected. It can also cause a lowered heart rate and lowered blood pressure. Have you spoken to your doctor about this, yet? In most instances where this occurs, the person needs a dosage adjustment or has to stop taking one of the medications. ## are there any foods that can help or hurt while detoxing from vicodine?

Hi, My mother is 57. She had been diagnosed for breast cancer in Nov 2009. Right breast removed. Now, very recently 40 days ago, she developed brain metastases. She underwent WBRT and is being prescribed Decdac and Eptoin. Doctor suggested to take Eptoin 100 , all 3 tables together at night. With this she stays stable for close to 18 hours and then again starts getting angry and irritated and forgets many things. Since the effect is for 18 hours, it becomes difficult to give her medicines after exactly 17-18 hours. My question is if I can give her 2 tables twice daily after 12 hours. Would this be effective. Pls suggest ## Eptoin contains Phenytoin, an anticonvulsant that is also used as a mood stabilizer. You shouldn't make changes without checking with her doctor. But yes, it can ...

Can I take tramacet and neurontin for nerve pain? ## I am taking Neurontin for nerve pain in my face. I was also given Tramacet for headaches triggered by pain in the jaw joint. The Neurontin works on the face pain but not the jaw and headaches. I have found if I take tramcet late in the evening it won't let me sleep. The neurontin helps me sleep otherwise. If I take them both in the day time there is no problem but I just take the tramacet once in a day and maybe once or twice a week. I have fibromyalgia so have had trouble sleeping for 17 years - the neurontin is like a miracle drug because I can finally sleep!! And it is the only thing I take now.

I was prescribed Topamax about a month ago for migraine prevention. However, I have developed side effects of numbness and tingling in my hands and feet, concentration problems, problems with motor skills, and not much improvement in my migraines. I am going to ask my doctor to stop taking the the Topamax even though he advised that it would take a couple months to completely see the benefits of it. I just can't deal with the side effects and don't expect them to improve unless he says otherwise. I had high hopes for this drug and I'm really disappointed. ## I too was recently put on Topamax for bad headaches. Within the first week noticed sharper pains in my temples, strange pressure behind my eyes, became much more agitated with people and situations-really short fused. (w...
