Mother is taking Lamotrigine 300mg/day for epilepsy since 2 -3 yrs. she has a baby of 3months age who is 4.7 kgs. Baby has diagnosed etopic dermatites 5 wks back. she just recovered from diaper rash. baby got Eazy 5 vaccine 3 wks back and with 2 wks gap got BCG vaccination. Recently since 4days the rash on her body has increased ( generalized erythema with patched of scaly regions over scalp, flexor regions of elbow and knee areas associated with scaling.there r also patches of erythematous and scaling regions on her back and legs.) we r using antiallergic ointment (derma shield), topical 1% steroid ointment, and 10 drops TID of CPM and Phenylephrine combination. she is irritable and crying always. I have been taking this for a while---not every day, but I have this severe pain in the nerves. I had shingles about 4 years ago, and it never went away. This medicine is all that helps.
