Eptoin Level Is Above 40 What Can I Do To Reduce It

My son is using eptoin since 3-4 years, right now his level is on toxic alert, about to know the precautions

Eptoin contains the active ingredient Phenytoin, it is most commonly used as an anti-epileptic.

Did his doctor give you any instructions? Usually this results in their lowering his dosage or even discontinuing the medication for a few days and then retesting.

This is even done when it is used as a mood stabilizer, to prevent the toxic levels from occurring, because they can lead to serious health problems.

Doctor Advise him to reduce the eptoin 100 mg thrice to twice, and also warn to take well care of him, may be he will face one or two attacks within a week. I want to know that is there any other kind of treatment is available ?? because he is facing side effects of eption, e.g. hair loss, skin allergy. this suggestion is for a week to examine the level of eptoin, after a week doctor will examine again.
