drug study of sultamicillin ## Sultamicillin is an oral form of the antibiotic combination (codrug or mutual prodrug) ampicillin/sulbactam. It contains esterified ampicillin and sulbactam. It is used in the treatment of infections where beta-lactamase-producing organisms might occur, including uncomplicated gonorrhoea, otitis media, and respiratory-tract and urinary-tract infections. Manufacturer's of Sultamicillin are located outside of the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. The only other thing I can suggest is that you try asking your local...

I have some Doxycycline capsules which were prescribed to me in Sept 10 as anti-malarials to use when travelling. I have been to the doctors recently and given Augmentin for testicular pain, (which as a sympton is accompanied by a watery discharge from the penis). I have completed the course of Augmentin (three days ago), the testicular pain has ceased but the watery discharge remains. The doctor instructed me to got to the local sexual health clinic with a possible UTI/STI, but for some inexplicable reason it has been closed from starting the day I tried to go, for another three weeks. I believe from these symptoms I have Chlamydia, my question is: is it safe to take these capsules ten months after they were prescribed? I do not know (and have looked for) the manufacture date, however ...

what can i take for tonsole infection. ## There is always the option of antibiotics; but I would recommend a natural remedy if you don't want to deal with possible side effects. You can try the options below before you look into taking antibiotics if need be. But this should be enough to get the job done in most cases if done consistently: Gargle with hot salt water at least two to three times daily. Adding honey to your gurgle water will help with inflammation. Also making a paste out of honey and turmeric powder to put on your tonsils will be of great help. If this initial treatment doesn't appear to be effective then I would suggest making an appointment with your doctor. Is there anything else I can help you with?

my wife has been prescibed sulfamethoxazole/ tmp ds. is this mostly used for venereal disease and if so what types and should i get checked out? she has had itching and red bumps in her pelvic area? ## Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim is an antibiotic, it is used to treat many types of infections. First of all, an infection is not the same as a disease. An infection can be cleared up with the use of the proper medications. A disease is a condition for which these is no cure. And second, just because she has been given an antibiotic, it doesn't mean that she has any type of venereal or sexually transmitted disease. Women can get infections from other things, such as yeast infections and, if it made her itch and she scratched, it could very well have caused the red bumps. Have you e...

( the blood litererly makes me look so discusting, i just want it gone asap.... any advice if this med. isn't for it?) ## This medication really won't help with that. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections and it will not help something that has not been cause by an infection.
