Any of these 3 medications could cause nausea and it's likely worsened by taking all 3 of them. Have you consulted the doctor, again? They may be able to prescribe something to help with the nausea. Oxycodone is classified by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Ibuprofen is classified a...

I take zero pills as well. Thank u for any help ## Hello, Nikki! How are you? You may actually have a kidney stone, or several. Could i give my one and a half dog (64pounds)KLX 141 Pill - cephalexin 500 mg - to treat his pneumonia and if so for how many days ## @Xexa, According to colostate.edu, Cephalexin tablets, capsules, or liquid are usually prescribed for dogs to take orally 2-3 times daily. However the exact dosage and duration of treatment is best determined by a licensed vet who can evaluate the dog in person. Upon doing so, the vet can also decide if Cephalexin is appropriate over other potential antibiotics/treatment options (that may be safer in so far as possible side effects). Cephalexin itself is a very powerful drug (even for humans), so I just think it's wise to play it safe and seek additional feedback from a vet before following through with treatment on your own accord. Hope this helps!

I'm having problems with painful gums and sinus swelling, pressure and pain. Probable TMJ. Before I try to see a dentist (I have no dental ins), which antibiotic should I ask my doctor to prescribe to clear up the infection? I know she will know, but I like to know before I ask. Thank you for any advice. ## Hello, Mimi! How are you? TMJ is not due to an infection and antibiotics will not treat it. TMJ is due to a problem in the jaw joint that causes pain and inflammation and it needs to be treated totally differently to reduce the inflammation and prevent the problem from recurring and worsening. Thus, you need to consult your dentist for proper treatment, if it is TMJ. An antibiotic will only treat a bacterial infection and there isn't any particular one that would be better th...
I suffered 4 puncture wounds to my middle finger from being bitten by a Pit Bull a couple days ago. Since the pit was going after my beagle puppy and I knew the pit would kill him, I slipped my hand under the pit bull's collar. He pulled me onto my back and bit my hand. I was screaming, but still holding onto his collar My black lab, Lucy has never fought but she is very loyal and protective of me. Prior to this incident, the only thing she attacked because she perceived it as a threat to me, was the weed eater. But she jumped the Pit Bull and wasn't about to give up the fight till she knew I was okay. I was at the bottom of this dog pile and had no idea what kind of injuries Lucy was sustaining. Long story short, my left hand has 4 punctures and is very swollen, purplish in col...

Why did they wait to mix it with something once I made it to pick it up? Why couldn't it be mixed before I made it? ## Hello, Wondering! How are you? Because liquid medications don't last as long as other forms, such as tablets. They degrade much faster, so they have a very limited shelf life. The FDA classifies this medication as an antibiotic and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have a 11 year old & need to know soon as possible ## Hello, Cookie! How are you? You shouldn't give a child anything that hasn't been prescribed for them by their doctor. Teva lists this capsule as containing 500mgs of Cephalexin, which is an antibiotic and yes, it can be prescribed for children to treat infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
Hi why would my Dr. change my current med's (Augmentin 875mg) after only 5 doses @ BID to a similar if not the same AMOX/CLAV POT 875/125 ## Hello, Frank! How are you? The addiction of the clavulanic acid helps the antibiotic to work better. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
Can you use neomycinand polymyxin b sulfates and hydrocortisone otic suspension on an 8 months old ear ## Hello, Shae! How are you and your child? Please do not use anything on such a young child, without their doctor's approval. At that age, it is far too easy to overdose them, or possibly cause damage to their delicate ears and ear drums. It would be best for your child to take them to their pediatrician and have them prescribe the proper medication, if they have an ear infection. The FDA lists the typical side effects of these ear drops as possibly including dizziness, headache, ear stuffiness and drainage. Is there anything else I can help with?
I am taking the above med for a tooth abscess. I've read all the before answers and have not seen a straight answer. Is it effective or not? And what dosage is recommended? ## Hello, Dan! How are you? Ampicillin is an antibiotic that has been proven effective at preventing or eradicating various bacterial infections. However, it depends on the type and severity of the infection, because some may be resistant to it. The usual dosage for most infections is 250 to 500mgs every 6 hours for 7 to 10 days. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, you shouldn't take it, unless your doctor or dentist has confirmed the presence of an infection, because taking it improperly creates the risk of yo...
I have had a persistent bad taste and smell and it seems like there is infection present but I have been prescribed other antibiotics since this started about a month ago. Now I have been prescribed am ox clav 875. Should I expect better results because this is driving me crazy ## Hello, Aking! How are you? If it isn't responding to antibiotics, then it may not be due to a bacterial infection. There are various reasons you may be experiencing such symptoms, such as your sinuses being full due to allergies, other medications that you're taking, something you're eating/drinking, or a fungal infection. The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Have you tried consulting an ENT?
Groin blister that's very soft to touch but painful at times Until you release the blood and it sometimes releases a puss that has an odor. Once released it will refill again. Had one couple months ago on the other side but finally went away after a month or so without treatment, possibly because I used coconut oil as a skin moisturizer which could have helped. I use wax so maybe this causing them? I read it most likely is folliculitis. Would NITROFURANTOIN 100 MG TABLETS help heal this ? ## Hello, Nikki! How are you? No, Nitrofurantoin is most commonly used to treat UTIs. It would be best to see your doctor, so they can prescribe the appropriate antibiotic for you. The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic ...
Can i apply for RSS. I had this for months.penicillin cream.????? ## Hi jerry, What is it that you mean by applying for "RSS"? I'm sure you don't mean "Really Simple Syndication (RSS)" that websites use to feed headlines and news flashes, but I've never heard of the term/abbreviation being used in medical context... By the way, if your Penicillin cream really is "months old" and you're questioning whether it's still ok to take - an accurate answer would depend upon how it was stored, and whether it already expired. If that is the case and it is expired, then I think your best bet would probably be to get a new prescription, since older antibiotics (with less efficacy) may not fully eradicate a bacterial infection; potentially leading to antibi...

Unfortunately, i can also associate this with having my period. So in not sure if I'm having a body ache or cramps.
