Liquid Penicillin V 125mg

Why did they wait to mix it with something once I made it to pick it up? Why couldn't it be mixed before I made it?

Because liquid medications don't last as long as other forms, such as tablets. They degrade much faster, so they have a very limited shelf life.

The FDA classifies this medication as an antibiotic and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
