Can you use neomycinand polymyxin b sulfates and hydrocortisone otic suspension on an 8 months old ear

Hello, Shae! How are you and your child?

Please do not use anything on such a young child, without their doctor's approval. At that age, it is far too easy to overdose them, or possibly cause damage to their delicate ears and ear drums.

It would be best for your child to take them to their pediatrician and have them prescribe the proper medication, if they have an ear infection.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of these ear drops as possibly including dizziness, headache, ear stuffiness and drainage.
