I quit taking ambien at night to go to sleep. I have been taking one regular aleve at bedtime to go to sleep for about three years. I have heard that can cause diverticulitis. Should I get off of that and if I need to what else could I take for sleeping. ## There are always medical conditions that could be caused, or contributed to, by any given medication, bother over the counter, and prescription, however, it is also important to remember that the risk is very small, they only occur in a very small percentage of people that take them. With the Naproxen in Aleve, you are more likely to experience nausea, dizziness, headache, blood thinning, and stomach irritation. Do you have a medical history of Diverticulitis?

Blue capsule shaped pill L341 imprint on one side ## From the marking I can tell that this is an over the counter product, however, I cannot find a specific ID for it. Many such OTC blue tablets are Naproxen, the generic for Aleve, so if I had to hazard a guess, that would be it, but as I said, I have no way to be certain of that. I have been on entocort off and on since 2012 due to gastro diverticulitis (highly flammable). After a colonopscopy in Sept. 2012 I was given entocort for 3 a day-1 mo., then 2 a day-1 mo., then 1 a day-1 mo. Then on Feb. 7th, 2013 I fell on cement and was taken to a hospital by helicopter. They kept me alive due to help from the Dr.'s at University of Ky. Hospital -Lexington, Ky. Then later they gave me prescription budesonide ec 3mg. 1 per day. After another colonopscopy on 9/24/17 they ruled it as diverticulitis w/colitis again. Recently they changed my script to budesonide 3mg with the drug co. listed as MYLAN 7155- NO EC letters listed on the script. I am prescribed Prednizone to treat dizziness - possibly an inner ear infection. I had to take high doses of prednisone for 3 1/2 months to breathe. I never took opioids with prednisone or in the physical condition I’m in after getting hit with the effects of 9/11 4-5 years ago. Are there limitations and interactions between diclofenac and doxycycline? ## I did not find any interactions listed between Diclofenac and Doxycycline [1]. It is reported, however, that there is a severe interaction between Diclofenac Sodium and alcohol "... ingestion of ethanol with NSAIDs increases the risk of developing gastric irritation and GI mucosal bleeding. I have osteoarthritis and the only drug which provides some relief is diclofenac which I get on prescription. The last two months the chemist has said there are production problems and it is unavailable. This is a disaster for me.
