When I measure Voltaren gel on the enclosed plastic card, do I squeeze out a thin layer or a thick layer? ## Hi, Arthur! From what I can find, it should just be the amount that's naturally expelled when you gently squeeze the tube to put the gel onto the card to measure, so you shouldn't thin it out or apply any excess pressure to the tube or you may get too much. I know it's a bit hard to really picture it, so what I'd suggest is that you go ask your doctor or pharmacist, one of them should be able to demonstrate it for you so you can see the proper amount. Are there any other questions?

what is the difference? They both are generics but cost different ## There is no difference, the DR and ER are both just abbreviations used to designate them as being time release products, but the medication is the same. I found a pill on the floor at home. It is round, orange and has a V on one side and 50 on the other. I've no idea where it came from or what is for. Can anyone please tell me? Thank you ## Hi Megan, The closest match I've been able to find is Prednisone (20 mg); which I've identified as a round orange pill with a fancy V on one side and the imprint 50 92 (divided by a score) on the other side. Prednisone is a synthetic corticosteroid drug that is particularly effective as an immunosuppressant, and affects virtually all of the immune system. It is used to treat certain inflammatory diseases and (at higher doses) cancers, but has significant adverse effects. Short-term side-effects, as with all glucocorticoids, include high blood glucose levels (especially in patients with di...

My four year old son's doctor prescribed him co-aleva, she said that I would divide the tablet into two so that would give my son half of the tablet at bedtime. Now my question is, is it ok for my four year old son to take this tablet? Because I had read about some Infos regarding this medicine that it is only for adults? Please enlighten me, thanks so much ## Hi, Viktoria! Actually almost all medications available are used in both children and adults, it's just the dosage and dosing frequency that changes. However, I have to admit that if it were my child, I wouldn't want to give this to them at even half the dosage. The reason I am saying that is due to the fact that it contains Betamethasone, which is a steroid class medication. This doesn't contain a huge amount of i...
