I just want to know when I use it if I can go outside and take in some direct sun on the beach or is it necessary that I remove the product from my body before going out? ## Since it is absorbed into the skin, you actually can't remove it and its effects on sun sensitivity will remain as long as you continue using it. It is best to avoid prolonged sun exposure, but if you have to go out in it, then make sure to use a stronger sunscreen than usual and drink extra water, as long as it is safe for you to do so, to avoid dehydration. Such medications tend to make you much more sensitive to the sun and heat, so not being cautious can create the risk of your burring faster and developing heat stroke or dehydration sooner than...

please could you advise what the small white oblong tablet is which is blank on one side and on the other is C10? ## please could you advise what the small white oblong tablet is which is blank on one side and on the other is C10? ## Piriton is a White to off-white capsule-shaped film-coated tablet debossed with C10 on one side and a deep break line on the other containing: Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg ## Actually, Piriton contains Chlorpheniramine, which is a different type of antihistamine, used to treat allergies. If that is what this tablet is, then that would also explain why it isn't listed in any of our databases, as a 4mg tablet, it is an over the counter product, in most countries. Does it have a score line on it? ## I have a packet of generic hayfever tablets from a su...
A white oblong tablet with the letters CY written in a block and scored in the middle ## Hi Malcolm, The closest match I've been able to find is Cyproheptadine hydrochloride (4 mg). Cyproheptadine is primarily used to treat allergic reactions (specifically hay fever), but also is indicated for other uses. Common side effects include: Drowsiness, Over sleeping, epigastric distress, nausea, vomiting, and supression of growth hormone with higher dosages. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Cyproheptadine Please post back if you need additional assistance!
Need to identify imprint "ETX" "AE" small white tablet...possibly from Korea? ## Hi John, I haven't been able to find any pills from the U.S. with that imprint, the closest match I've found is a white oblong pill with ETHEX on one side and on the other side- 444 on the right of score. I have identified it as Phenavent D; which contains Guaifenesin + Phenylephrine. That combination is used as an expectorant and decongestant. It is definitely possible that your pill comes from foreign source. What makes you think it came from Korea?
well please can u send me for which the Levokast,Pankind-D,o2 tablets are used in brief. ## Hello, I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but I'll provide some information for Levokast below. I haven't been able to find any information for Pankind- D. Levokast (as levocetirizine dihydrochloride) is a third-generation non-sedative antihistamine, developed from the second-generation antihistamine cetirizine. Chemically, levocetirizine is the active enantiomer of cetirizine. It is the R-enantiomer of the cetirizine racemate. Levocetirizine works by blocking histamine receptors. It does not prevent the actual release of histamine from mast cells, but prevents it binding to its receptors. This in turn prevents the release of other allergy chemicals and increased blood supply t...
I woul like to know the name of a small pink pill with a capital G on one side and nothing on the other. Anyone know what this is? ## Hi Frankie, The closest match I've been able to find is Phenylephrine hydrochloride (5mg); which is a round pink pill with the imprint G 55. Maybe the 55 got rubbed off at some point? Manufacturer: Unifirst First Aid Corporation Phenylephrine is used as a decongestant sold as an oral medicine, as a nasal spray, or as eye drops. Phenylephrine is now the most common over-the-counter decongestant in the United States; oxymetazoline is a more common nasal spray. It is also used as a nasal spray, an eye drop to dilate the pupil in order to facilitate visualization of the retina, and as a vasopressor to increase the blood pressure in unstable patients with ...
Is Zinnat 500 mg an antibiotic for cough ## Hi, Ruby! Yes, Zinnat is an antibiotic, it contains the active ingredient Cefuroxime, it's used to treat various types of infections and may cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and non-allergic skin rash. Learn more Zinnat details here. However, antibiotics do not treat coughing. As I said, they only treat infections and taking one when it isn't appropriate could create health complications, such as antibiotic resistance. Is there anything else I can help with?

I started taking nurontin and about a week later I broke out in a terrible rash. before this I broke out in a sever itch. Please help. ## HI, Mona! Sorry about your allergy. Unfortunately, there's really nothing that's going to help stop it from happening, you'll just have to stay away from this medication. In general, these types of reactions only get worse if you try to keep taking it. Have you consulted your doctor? You will most likely need to try an alternative medication.
Honestly these pills suck they are suppose to be for runny nose and cough but it is no help what so ever! They honestly do not help at all and there is nothing for you guys to say to change my mind ## I'm sorry you feel that way about this medication. In my opinion, a higher dose of Guaifenesin and Phenylephrine is probably in order. The one you have is only 200mg/5mg (a dose more suitable for kids). However I'm also finding it at much higher dosages of 600mg/20mg or 1200mg/25mg combinations. That's 4 to 6 times as potent as the dose you're currently taking. So you could end up changing your mind once you try a higher dosage, that's all I'm saying. I hope this helps! :)

Could I give half of 30 mg ambroxol to my daughter? My doctor didn't recommend it but as a parent I want my daughter who is 2 yrs and 4 months stop coughing so I' m thinking to give it t0 her. My doctor gave it to me when I was back home from the Phils. ## Hi Ann, If your doctor didn't recommend that you give this medication to your child, then I imagine the safest thing to do would be to listen to him/her. I have read that it isn't safe to give a child under the age of 2 any cough/cold medication. At your child's age, there is no way to know how medications could effect her system and her growth. Have you tried giving her a hot bath or used a humidifier in her room? The steam may help to loosen up her cough. Here is a link to a page on the FDA site with information ...

Dilaudid cough syrup in the USA and Canada is a scheduled II controlled drug as it has 1 mg of hydromorohone per 5ml of cough solution .. It never was over the counter in the last 50+ yrs... You may be confused with some Meds like robitussin AC which has only 10mg of CODIENE in it per 30ml of syrup and thus is a controlled 5 script and you can sign for it at some states pharmacy counter!! ## I'm not sure who suggested otherwise to you, but Dilaudid Cough Syrup (guaifenesin + hydromorphone) is definitely regarded as a controlled substance - available by prescription-only. Perhaps other countries are more liberal about its presence over the counter, due to the guaifenesin, but at least here in the US it requires a doctor's script (probably because of dilaudid's high potential ...
Hi, I'm looking for a substitute of Wikoryl Syrup, with following composition in USA: Cetrizine/cpm Phenylephrine Paracetamol Please help !! Thank you, Nikunj ## Hi Nikunj, I did some research and unfortunately I'm not finding any cough/allergy medications like Wikoryl in the U.S. that contain Cetirizine, Phenlyephrine, and paracetamol. There are allergy medications such as Zyrtec that contain Cetirizine and other cough medications that contains Phenylephrine and Paracetamol- However I've read that it isn't safe to mix an anti-allergen like Cetirizine with cough/cold medications. The only thing I can think to recommend is Robitussin Allergy and cough syrup which contains: Brompheniramine maleate (2 mg), Dextrmethorphan (10 mg), and Psuedoephedrine (30 mg). This syrup is ...
I need to now if my son can use that meds to make meth I now hes been doing meth ## Hi, Beans! No, Cetirizine is not an ingredient typically used to manufacture Meth. Any commen factor between odimont LC and ebastine . Is it okay if use ebastine tablet in the absence of odimont LC tab ## Although both medications are indicated for similar uses, Ebastine is also of a different drug class. And from what other reviews have said, it's is not the best choice for asthma (if this is what you had intended on using it for?). Ebastine is a second-generation H1 receptor antagonist that is indicated for allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria. So if you've been using Odimont LC for either of these conditions, it may still turn out to be a viable alternative in the meantime. Odimont LC contains the active ingredients montelukast (10 mg) + levocetirizine (5 mg). This combination is used for the treatment of chronic asthma, urticaria, and/or vari...
