I have allergic rhinitis and headache I took bioflu ...then my clogged nose are gone but the next day i have severe headache and dizziness and I feel I want to blow. .then I took alaxan and took a nap and my headache is gone ## Hello, Katya! How are you feeling? All medications carry the risk of possibly causing side effects, even BioFlu, especially with the Phenylephrine in it, it is known to cause nausea, dizziness, headache and insomnia. But there is also a chance that your sinus issue caused the headache, since that can also cause them. But both BioFlu and Alaxan contain Paracetamol, so please be careful doubling up as taking too much of it could be dangerous. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Are there any other questions or concerns?
I take Xarelto for AFIB ...I have a cold with a bad cough. Can I take iophen-C-NR for my cough? ## Hello, Don! How are you? Iophen-C NR contains Codeine and Guaifenesin, so no, you shouldn't take it without your doctor's approval. The Guaifenesin can sometimes affect your heart rhythm and may be dangerous for those with a pre-existing heart condition. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? There are some products available that are made for those with hypertension or cardiac issues, such as Coricidin HBP, so you may want to ask your doctor about taking it for your cold symptoms.
If it is Rx only, I can only wonder, why didn't Shering/Plough (I think that's the manufacturer) ...why didnt they just be upfront about the whole thing and Make An Announcement: "Original Drixoral is now Prescription by MD ONLY". There could have been a grace period, where the absolute disappearance of the product from store shelves took place as we experienced several years ago. (I can't help myself, I check again every allergy season, to see if Drixoral has one again become available.) Well, we all know about woulda-coulda-shoulda. Now I see Shering/Plough has essentilly brought back the Original Drixoral, in the new-named Disophrol, and by "original" I mean "prescription"... Or is it? The strange thing about the whole fiasco is the original Sudafe...
I'm tested at my work. I can't have anything mind altering at all including products such as st johns wart or diphenhydramine. There are supplements that have chaste tree and rhodiola extract in them. I don't know if they are considered mind altering. I'm even wondering how a lab can test for herbs such as St. John's wart. I'm not taking it but can they test for such things? Many thanks

I am very confused which side of the pill could be sudafedrine the tan are the white ## Hello, Robert! How are you? Neither one is just the Pseudoephedrine, the ingredients are equally dispersed throughout the entire tablet. The different colors is just something that manufactured decided to do to emphasize the ingredients and how their medication is supposed to work. Side effects to Allegra-D may include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and elevated blood pressure. This medication is used to treat allergy symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?
Someone broke in my house and stole this over the counter medicine! need know if this can be used to make methamphetamine cause the person who stole it abuses that! ## No, cetirizine is not a precursor for methamphetamine. Maybe the person who took your cold medicine thinks so, but they are mistaken.

UpdatedI wanted to find out if this has Sudafed in it and if it has to have a prescription to get it? ## Hi famous, How are you? To answer your question, Claritin (also known as Loratadine) does not contain any Sudafed (Pseudoephedrine) in and of itself. However, it is "available in combination" with that specific medication as well as others. It will also require a prescription from your doctor here in the US, but I'm not aware of the laws in other countries. I hope this helps!
I am kan from india Mumbai I am very very thin I feel soo bad when I look myself in mirror so I want to gain weight fast so is it OK with cyproheptadine to consume and what's the cost of this drug and where can I get this ## Hi Kan, Sorry to hear about your challenges with weight management. From your description it sounds to me like you may not be getting enough calories and/or nutrients through your diet in order to maintain a heavier figure. If that is the case you may want to look into seeing a registered dietician who can help you plan out meals to reach your goals faster. However, regarding the use of Cyproheptadine, this is simply an antihistamine for treating allergy symptoms. So I have to wonder how do you expect it to help with weight gain? There are plenty of appetite inc...
would ya know what kind of pill this is!! i found it out side of the end of my drive way.of my house on the ground.i do not need for my Daughter to get a hold of it.please let me know what the it is.Thanks..... ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? If there are no markings on it, it is most likely an over the counter product. There are some Diphenhydramine capsules that match this description, they are a generic or store brand of Benadryl, which is used to treat allergies. I'm not certain, but I'll do some more looking and post back, when I have more information for you. Does anyone else have any idea of what this contains?
I found these and wondered what they are... there are no perforations, letters or numbers on the reverse side.. Thanks ## Hello, Ida! How are you? There is a 10mg Cetirizine tablet that's available over counter that matches this description. It's a generic for Zyrtec, which is used to treat allergies. Side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
I purchased zyrtec d with decongestion to clear my nose but after taking it my ears have clogged up both ears. Did not have ear problem before. Any suggestions to fix this problem. Thank you for any help. ## Hello, Marcia! How are you? I'm thinking your clogged ears are most likely related to being sick to begin with and not the Zyrtec, but only your doctor can say for sure. Do you commonly have ear problems, such as infections? Are you on any other medications? Do you frequently get sinus infections or have colds?
Found broken oval white pill with 442 or possibly 4H2 imprint. Wondering what it is. ## Hi Barbara, Based on the description provided, I found the white oval pill to be Cetirizine hydrochloride (10 mg). Cetirizine hydrochloride is a major metabolite of hydroxyzine, and a racemic selective H1 receptor inverse agonist used in the treatment of allergies, hay fever, angioedema, and urticaria. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## Is it ok to take a 2mg. Xanex bar with 10 or 20mgs of Cetirizine?
I started taking 1 alergex tablet every night for allergies,it is about 3 months now. I find that my allergies were gone and my sleeping pattens so much better. Can i continue doing this forever or is their a risk of developing a dependency??

This pill is thick and round with a big 5 on one side and the other side has an image similar to this )*( but the dot is a little higher up, almost reminds you of a stick figure ## Found a small white pill.....blank on one side and with a V (with a dot in the middle of the V) on the other side. Curious as to what this is....any ideas? ## @Fin, Unfortunately I can't seem to locate any specific details on a pill with the markings you described. Although a few come close with the number 5 being there, nothing else I'm seeing has a symbol like )*(. Is this something you received from overseas by chance? If so, that may explain why no results are coming up within US search engines. Does anyone else here recognize this pill? @Junebug (post #1), Is the "V" that's marked on ...
blue oblong pill with mp425on one side ## THIS IS NOT HYDROCHLOROQUININE!!! Not even related to it. Sorry. This tablet contains Guaifenesin 600mgs and Pseudoephedrine 60mgs, it is commonly sold under the name Deconsal II and is a cold remedy. ## Started hydrochloroquinine 4 weeks ago. Great reduction in pain. Complexion is a little spotty, though. This anti-malaria drug seems to work when those white blood cells are working against you but blood work doesn't really identify what is going on. ## Just an fyi make sure you have a dr.thats interested in your care and have your cbc"s taken I was hydrochloroqunine in which it destroyed my immune system. Was a candidate for bone marrow transplant because white blood and red blood counts dipped down too 3 and platelet count 1000. Pleass...
