Or will it cause your blood pressure to go up? ## It actually has nothing to do with using the medications together, they aren't known to cause any interactions. The problem stems from the fact that the Cetirizine is an antihistamine and they, by their very nature, can raise blood pressure. Have you discussed it with your doctor? Its really going to depend on your blood pressure levels and how dangerous it might be for you to use an antihistamine. If your blood pressure is staying at a normal level, so the elevation it may cause won't put you in any danger, your doctor might decide that it is safe for you to take it. I beleive this may be phenergan. I can't confirm on any search I've attempted. It may have come from another country while studying abroad. They don't have a bottle with them and I found them in my box of old scripts while cleaing. If they are phenergan I am prescribed and would like to know the mg. If they aren't can you assist me in figuring out what they could be?

long red 223 one side ## This is generic guaifenesin 300mg/codeine 10mg. Generic for Brontex. It is used to relieve cough and to engage in productive cough. It can be addictive and causes stomach upset, constipation, tiredness. ## Thank u this was help full. Does it have an expectorant in it ## Hi Jim, Neither medication is actually in the drug class of expectorants like guaifenesin. However I have seen other brand names of promethazine + codeine (such as "Phenergan Expectorant/Codeine" manufactured by Wyeth) being marketed as an expectorant. So I'm led to believe that promethazine does exhibit such effects regardless of its classification. Hope this helps!

Is Watson one of them? ## @bankrolled, From what I could gather, promethazine codeine (phenergan w/ codeine) is or was being manufactured by the following pharmaceutical companies: Alpharma Actavis (NDC is 0472-1627-16) Tris Pharma Inc. (NDC is 27808-065-01) Sun Pharma Inc. (NDC is 57664-185-31) Qualitest Pharma (NDC is 0603-1585-58) Hi-Tech Pharma I didn't see Watson listed, but Actavis bought them out a long time ago, so I'd imagine that their version ended up taking Watson's place. Apparently they came in one pint (473 mL) bottles. I hope this info helps!

It's listed as containing Mometasone, via Medicine India. At this point, it will really just be a matter of time for it to clear up on its own. I had been recommended Clavam 600 with Allegra 120 for 7 days for treating my 3 months old Sinusitis. So far after completion of course not much improvement is noticed. What should be done as no medicine especially antibiotics seem to be working on my sinus infection ?
