Are these still good to use or should they be discarded. They are over 5 years old. ## Hello, Pretzel! How are you? It would be best to dispose of them, they tend to lose efficacy once expired. This is classified by the FDA as an antihistamine that is used to treat allergic reactions and insomnia. Typical side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. This medication is available over the counter, so if your doctor says that it is safe for you to take, a new supply can be obtained easily and inexpensively. Is there anything else I can help with?
I've been taking it & didn't know I was pregnant. Could this harm my baby in any kind of way? ## Hello, Ash! How are you? Congratulations on the baby! This tablet is manufactured by Woonsocket and they list it as containing 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, which is used to treat allergies and insomnia. Typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. And the FDA places this medication in pregnancy category B, which means there is no known/proven risk in humans. However, it would be best to make sure your doctor is aware that you were taking it. Is there anything else I can help with?
Can i take Nyqil Severe Cold and Flu with CTM 4mg tablet ## Hello, Esther! How are you? You likely shouldn't mix them, since the Nyquil also contains an antihistamine, you'd basically be doubling up on it and that could result in overdose. The Nyquil contains Acetaminophen, Dextromethorphan, Doxylamine and Phenylephrine, so it really contains all you need, if your doctor approves of you taking it. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, nervousness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
I will be soon starting on treatment with low dose naltrexone at 4.5 mg for my fibro and chronic pain and to build up my immune system which my chemo is destroying. Dexomothorphan and codeine both interefer with the naltrexone so am searching for something I can take with my chronic coughs from upper respiratory infections so I can get some sleep. ## Hello, Sue! How are you? I'm sorry about the health problems you've been having. I couldn't find anything listed under the name Tussent. Can you please double check the name/spelling and post back? Is this something that was prescribed, or is it available over the counter? Naltrexone is listed by the FDA as being an opioid receptor agonist and its most common side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and abdo...
Need to know if I should take another 25mg adarax. Took one an hour ago and my welts and rash havnt gone away. Have rash and welts all over arms from contact with Insulation. Not sure how to make this go away or what else to try and how long to wait to try it after having taken the one pill already. I am 37 ur old male, 6'0" 210 lbs ## Hello, Siebz936! How are you? This most likely isn't actually an allergic reaction. Fiberglass insulation contains very fine glass fibers, thus the name. It tends to prick the skin, which causes the itching and irritation. However, what this also means is that an antihistamine won't help, since it's not due to an allergy. You need to take a nice warm shower, scrubbing your skin to remove as much of the fibers as possible and then it wi...
I am on this med for broncitis. I am developing a rash. I have one day left. Can I go off this med and take benadryl ## Hello, Denise! How are you? I'm sorry about the rash. But, what kind of rash is it? Does it include hives and itchiness, or is is just a red rash? The FDA lists a non-allergic skin rash as a possible side effect of this antibiotic, you may also experience dizziness, nausea, headache and diarrhea. If you're not sure, your doctor can let you know if it's an allergic rash or not.
Print is only on one side. The other side had nothing. I can usually find what pills they are but am having no luck. Any help appreciated. ## Hi Sam, Is there any chance your pill says "S521" as opposed to 5521? Reason I ask is because I stumbled upon a white rectangular shaped pill (approx. 9mm in size) marked with S 521. This particular pill is identified as a 10mg Cetirizine hydrochloride tablet used for treating cold and allergy symptoms. NOTE: the S and 521 are on the same side of the pill, with the other side being blank. Please post back if you think we might be onto something here. I hope this helps!
this is a liquid filled capsule with no other markings excpet P30 (there is no space between the P and 30) ## I'm not sure but I found the same pill in my medicine cabinet today. If you do find out, please email me at {edited for privacy} Thanks a lot, and good luck! ## Unfortunately this gel cap is not coming up on any of the standard imprint references. This means it is most likely an over-the-counter medication; OTCs are not regulated the way that prescription medications are such that their imprint codes are not required to be catalogued. There is a chance this medication may be from Walgreen's because a related discussion thread for a was identified as Wal-Som (Diphenhydramine 50 mg) from Walgreens. With that said, it has also been reported that the P30 gel cap was found i...

My daughter is already 22, but since she is deaf & mute, we treat her like a small girl, and since she easily gets sick and quite long to handle her sickness, we are very cautious about the medications we give like for instance today, she's on her 3rd day of cough & colds with runny nose which clogged during night time when she's at about to sleep. So we would like to hear from you if we can give her Solmux & Himox for her cough & colds and Mucinex for her runny, clogged nose at the same time?
Updated in Mucinexi was wondering what was all in this. im allergic to alot of the hair growth stuff so i cnt ever take any of it so i was just wondering what was all in and if i was gunna be able to take it or not. ## Mmm... Why do you say that you are allergic? Because you break out? People usually break out with that Kind of product because they start taking doses that are too high. The same thing happened to me. Breaking out is like your body saying "ahhh, too much!". So what I have done is take much less than the indicated dose. Don't buy giant loaded pills. Buy the ones that you have to take 2 or three a day and start taking it every other day. Over the months you can increase your intake and slowly build yourself up to the recommended dose. Ive been doing it for a long time and haven...

UpdatedHi, A Thai clinic doctor gave me some pills for sinusitis. They are small, round, light green with imprint nl combined into one symbol and 10 underneath. I can't identify them anywhere. All she wrote (in ThaiI) was something about allergy and to take them before bed. I will ask her when I go back, but hope to learn sooner and independently.
UpdatedHas anyone found Visine L.R. or (Oxymetazoline HCI Eye Drops) which is the active ingredient in VIsine L.R. which makes it work SO well. PLEASE let me know when someone either has found the product, it's equivalent or heard from Visine.com about whether or not they will continue to sell this product. ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. From what I've found, it has been discontinued and there is no news on them bringing it back. At this time, it is listed as only being used in nasal sprays. Have you consulted your doctor? They may know of an alternative that works well. Has anyone else found anything that works as well? ## Please any info on Visine LR would be appreciated. Their is no other one that can help my husband. ## Bu...
I was recovering from bronchitis and a severe cold and had been taking over-thecounter anti-haistmaines as wel as flonase and/or afrin nasal spray. I was seeing a pain management specialist for severe arthritis and degenerative cervical disc disease with nerve impingement cauing severe pain to radiate down my arms and into my hands. I had always been meticulous about medications that were prescribed for this as well as other conditions. I have never abused drugs in any way and had an excellent history in terms of passing every random urinalysis which I had taken since the year 2000. I used to have to go to a hospital for the urinalysis. Then the doctor starting doine a point of care UA in-office which told him the results of the urinalysis before he even saw me for my 3 month check ups....
