I was wondering because I took an excedrin for my headache if I can also take two 2063 V pills containing 300mgs of acetaminophen + 30mgs of codeine phosphate? ## Both of these medications contain Acetaminophen, so there is a risk of overdose toxicity if you double up, according to FDA warnings. They state that you should not exceed 1,000mgs in an 8 period, and no more than 3,000mgs in any 24 hour period. Exceeding that risks overdose toxicity, which may include stomach ulceration, liver damage, liver failure, or death. Is there anything else I can help with?

Bright red pill marked L227 found twice in different M&M plain candy bags. Pretty upsetting don't you think? ## The pill in description is Acetaminophen (500 mg). Acetaminophen is a widely used over-the-counter analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). That is very disturbing to know that drugs are being placed into M&M candy bags. Where did you find these bags at? Were they left over from Halloween perhaps? I've heard similar stories from people experiencing this around halloween or easter when people are more susceptible to open a bag without thinking twice about it. I'm currently nursing my 2 week old baby and woke up with a cold. I was wanting to take Theraflu and continue feeding my baby with breastmilk that I had stored. My question was how long does it remain in your system to know when I can continue breastfeeding? ## this site is not medical professionals, so you should consult your doctor or a pharmacist to be certain. That said, however, Thera Flu contains Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine and Pseudoephedrine. Some formulations may contain Phenylephrine and Dextromethorphan and you did not specifically say which one you were talking about. That said, however, it would be safest to wait at least 24 hours or so, before breast feeding, again, after taking this. ## 3 hours ago I took 1 teaspoon of Theraflu and severe cough. Is it ok to alternate between these 2 meds during the day... hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10/325 and acetaminophen/codeine #4? ## You can do so, if your doctor approves, but you will not get anywhere near the relief from Codeine that you will from the Hydrocodone, since it is a much milder narcotic. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. What is a white round pill marked and scored on one side only (1800 with a fancy V at the top)? ## Hi Naganama, I located a round white pill with a fancy V below a score line and the numbers 0031 above it. On the back side it is blank. Is there any chance that the marking could've been misinterpreted depending on the pill's condition and which way it was being held? If this did turn out to be a match then it would be identified as a 500mg acetaminophen tablet, made by Qualitest. For verification, the pill itself is reportedly 12.00 mm in size and carries a NDC of 00603-0268. An image of this pill can also be viewed by following the NDC link. And even if it's not a match, I think we can still point out that Qualitest is probably the manufacturer since they make other tablets ...
