These are horrible, Accord Clonazepam. I'll be glad when I get my new script and can go back to TEVA.

Re: wackattack (# 106) Expand Referenced Message

Good for you for filing a complaint with the FDA about ACCORD! 10 days of panic had to have been hellacous! I am so sorry that that happened to you! So, other generics worked for you. That is good. I found that the only generic that I could use was TEVA! I surely do hope that the ACTAVIS will work for you as the brand name, (Klonopin), is extremely costly. I need to find out how much my insurance company would pay for it as I, too, am having great problems with ACCORD, (as I have previously stated). Shoot, you didn't come across as snippy! No worries! I am glad that you almost wrote about the muscle relaxing properties of Klonopin/Clonazepam. I am SURE that TEVA generic reduced my back pain. Either the TEVA generic reduced my pain or the ACCORD brand is causing me to have pain. People don't realize just how difficult it is to taper off of a Benzodiazepine, do they? I have had psychiatrists tell me that they could help me taper off, but, if Clonazepam helps me with my Panic Disorder and PTSD, I'd prefer to continue to use it. I went off of it cold turkey and went "bananas". It was horrible. I have tried tapering, but, dang, the withdrawal is crazy-making! I'd love to not have to use a Benzodiazepine. I know about all of its dangers. I know that it is extremely addictive; but, if Clonazepam can stave off my panic and anxiety, I'll keep using it. I hope that you can file a lawsuit. All of us who have had or are having very negative reactions to the ACCORD generic should join you.

If you ever actually do file a lawsuit, let us all know. We need a "class action lawsuit". Wishing you all the best! Thank you for your reply! I so hope that you feel better! Panic and PTSD are a very rough combination!

Re: Judy (# 105) Expand Referenced Message

Hi Judy. I actually filed a complaint with the FDA about Accord. I was in a state of extreme panic for 10 days, due to this crap. I've been on it for about 20 years and have had several generics with no problem....until Accord! So, I've gotten the Actavis at CVS and if it doesn't work I will find a way to pay for the name brand....unbelievable. It's like taking nothing. Sorry about your back pain. I'm an LPN and I almost said the same about muscle relaxing properties:) Glad I didn't come across as snippy. One pharmacist actually said I should just get off of Klonopin all together!!! He can speak to my PTSD and doc about that! I really feel a lawsuit is coming.

Re: wackattack (# 103) Expand Referenced Message

Thanks for the information! Correct! Clonazepam is typically not used for back pain. I have a PANIC DISORDER. When I am very anxious, my back pain increases tremendously. The TEVA brand helped, moderately, to decrease my pain. Klonopin/Clonazepam does serve as muscle relaxer, to some degree. I will have to find a pharmacy that supplies/dispenses ACTIVIS and find out if it will be beneficial. NOT SURE OF THE SPELLING FOR ACTIVIS! All that I know is that since using the ACCORD brand, I have been in a world of hurt! It is amazing how many people are not satisfied with ACCORD and that pharmacies are receiving complaints. I will speak with my psychiatrist and ask him to specify that a pharmacy dispense me ACTIVIS! Gosh darn pharmaceutical companies!

Re: Judy (# 102) Expand Referenced Message

CVS has Actavis - but my psy specified it on my prescription that it must be filled with Actavis, nothing else.

Re: Judy (# 102) Expand Referenced Message

There is no more TEVA brand. Teva acquired Actavis and is using the Actavis recipe. I'm trying this version out. If it fails, I will be on the name brand Klonopin. My pharmacy has had multiple complaints about the Accord brand and my local Walmart has as well. They won't change. They go with the cheapest. Just curious, this med is not used for back pain????

Re: Anya417 (# 99) Expand Referenced Message

I wish that I could get one of my local pharmacies to supply the TEVA generic. My pharmacy switched to the ACCORD generic. I am going through hell! The ACCORD brand has virtually NO positive effect. I have a chronic back pain issue. Ever since using the ACCORD brand, my pain has increased monumentally. Do you know of a franchise pharmacy that carries and dispenses the TEVA brand, e.g., Walmart, CVS, Walgreens? If you do, please let me know! Many thanks!

I agree with you 110% Bryan. I've been on 2 to 8mgs. of clonazepam a day for over 25 years. My favorite has always been Teva, as far as the generics are concerned. It's just as great as the brand name Klonopin to me. The last time I filled my clonazepam 2mg. prescription, they gave me that Accord Healthcare generic brand and first of all, if you take it sublingually, it dissolves very quickly under your tongue and tastes like flower, not medicine-like, and especially not minty like- how a normal clonazepam tablet tastes like. Plus, it feels flat when it takes effect. You don't feel much of anything like if it's extremely weak. Teva makes the best generic brand of clonazepam to me, at least of the generics that I've tried.

Re: Tyra (# 96) Expand Referenced Message

Hi Tyra. I've been using clonazepam first by Teva, then Accord. Today I went in and received Teva. No comparison. Accord didn't help my anxiety but Teva is so much better. It is really helping with my anxiety and insomnia. I was pleasantly surprised when pharmacist told me it was Teva. Hopefully Accord won't be making clonazepam and I can stick with Teva. It s so much better than Accord, I can't even tell you. Hopefully Teva is up and running again, but for me, my doc only gave me 2 months 1 mg 2 times a day and will not refilI it again. Good luck to you and let me know if this info helps you. I hope it does. I can't believe my insomnia is gone and so is my anxiousness. I hope you can find clonazepam that will help you. Take care and let me know if you can get the Teva. It was on good for about 6 months but seems to be coming back.

Re: Samuel (# 98) Expand Referenced Message

What I did was ask my pharmacist to special order the 1mg yellow ones those are the ones that work best for me, but when my pharmacy changed suppliers or something they started getting the green ones. So I asked if they could special order the yellow ones & that's what they do now, even as soon as the yellow 1mg Clonazepam became available to order again after being out of stock from February-September of 2018. Plus I go to a local private pharmacy, not Walgreens or CVS or anything.

Re: Mike (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

Sorry mike but I work for a local Union Hall I will leave the number out but I had to take a serious drug test to work out at a power house doing a Power shut downs and a power plant, and I will have been taking Klonopin for years now. Ever since they took me off the Xanax and my test came up negative (and that is with the ones with the c on one Side of them and the number 1 under it). And yes, they're white. I've tried going to every pharmacy within 50 to 60 miles from my house and none of them carry the TEVA anymore or any other brand because the C-1 and C-2 are cheaper. That's what I was told from a pharmacist - that he could not believe how much cheaper they actually were.

That's weird I take the yellow 1mg concave Clonazepam & my pharmacy couldn't order any because of the hurricane that hit Puerto Rico last year I've had to use the green flat round ones since February but my pharmacist said they're now making the yellow ones again so I'm back on those thank god

Someone made a comment that Teva is being taken off the market I certainly hope not! All I know is that every time I try to get my prescription refilled Walgreens Pharmacy tells me they have to try to order it and sometimes after 2 weeks they still have not been able to get it so I have to settle for another brand. But I will never take the Accord brand again! It is the worst manufacturer of clonazepam that I have ever had to take! I hope you have better luck getting them from your Pharmacy then I do!

Re: Verwon (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

I had a horrible experience with the Accord brand of clonazepam! I couldn't sleep couldn't eat I couldn't concentrate. On the sixth day of taking the clonazepam manufactured by Accord it felt like the ground was moving beneath my feet or as if I was in earthquake. I was very irritable and could not even speak with my family members. I had at least 9 or more panic attacks in a short period of time on the sixth day. I didn't know what was wrong with me! I called and spoke with a doctor in the emergency room and the only thing he could account for the way I was feeling was the change in medication I was taking. I had been taking clonazepam manufactured by Teva for quite a few years with no problems. King Soopers pharmacy told me they could no longer Supply me with that brand meaning Teva. So I transferred my prescription over to Walgreens. They were able to refill my prescriptions with the Teva brand for a few months and then all of a sudden they started using the Accord brand even though I told them I could not take that brand. They still have not been able to get me that brand but instead I have to wait an extra two weeks for them to refill my clonazepam with a pill that has a V on one side and the numbers 2531 on the other. I'm not sure but I I think the manufacturer's name is Solco. This brand is not much better but it's not as bad as the Accord manufacturer. Does anyone know is there a shortage of the Teva brand or are they just trying to give us whatever is cheaper?

Re: Bugs (# 84) Expand Referenced Message

Sandoz stopped making them. Which sucks because they had the perfect effect on my son. Chilled out his anxiety without making him space or sleepy. And no agitation at all. After my previous comment I looked up their contact info and gonna try to see if it's possible to start making them again, even if just in small batches. Wish me luck!!

Very definitely not the same product. TEVA was the superior generic. They had business troubles and that is that.

Re: Bugs (# 84) Expand Referenced Message

I received TEVA last month, and ACTIVAS the month before. One is green and the other is yellow. SANDOZ has always been the best working ones for myself and my son. Since they stopped producing them we had to switch to ACCORD. They are not as strong as the SANDOZ but don't cause agitation in my son as it kicks in like the yellow and green (the worst!!) It's kind if strange that the SANDOZ and ACCORD are both blue. My son's bad reaction is due to fillers in different brands of meds. In wondering if it's the color dyes....
