I have a white pill that is white u shaped or more like a D shape with 10 on one side and what looks like a large D on the other side. I was prescribed this for a period of time and then there was some drug shortage and had to rotate between the numerous generics of Ritalin until it was available, some worked great and others were horrible and since generic focalin was approved under my insurance (TEVA 93 5277 10 mg white round pills) and my insurance has a mail order service and few people are on it so they have a rather abundant supply I switched back. Hello. Today was the first day I took my concerta. I took one 18mg at 9am this morning and by noon I still haven't felt it. So at around 1.30-2pm I took another 18mg. It is now 4.15pm and I still haven't felt any difference. I still can't focus on my studying, but my head and stomach feel just slightly different but not my brain. I can feel the lost of appetite a little bit but that's it. I still can't focus on my work. I am quite afraid that it will start kicking in by the time I go to bed. My son is 15 and has ADD,the Dr put him on 36grm of Cocerta,It did not work.Now the Dr wants to try him on Intuniv. My Son has ADD he is Not Hyper,how will this Med help him. ## Generally, ADD and ADHD are considered the same disorder and are treated with the same types of medications. If you read the monograph on Concerta, you will see it listed as being used for ADHD: Just like Intuniv is: Have you discussed your concerns with his doctor?

Seems that most of the generic Ritalin manufacturers are back ordered. All the pharmacies I have called are out. Is there another medication I can request from my doctor. I take 20mg 3X daily ## Have you tried actually going to the pharmacies, with your prescription in hand to see if they have it in stock? Since Ritalin is a controlled substance, a phone call will usually not get you an accurate answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the other end of the line is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief. Otherwise, the alternatives, such as Adderall, may also be difficult to find, as we've had similar complaints from people that need to fill their prescriptions for it, as well.

This can safely be done with most medications, unless they are a time released formulation. Are the ones you're asking about regular release, or the controlled release?

I recently moved to the Phillipines for year job. My doctor wrote a Rx for vyvanse before I left the US and said I could get it filled in the PI. So far I cannot find anyone who even knows what this drug is. Does anyone know where, in the Phillipines, I can get this filled. I live in Cebu, but can travel if needed. ## I don't know where you can get it filled, but if it's available there, it may be under a different brand name, or as a generic. The active ingredient is Lisdexamfetamine, so you may need to let a pharmacist/chemist know this, so they can check for an equivalent medication for you. Can you post back and let us know if you have any luck finding it?

I found a coupon to save 30% on Adderall XR 20mg previously online. I can't find it now. Help! Does anyone know where this is at? ## I'm sorry, I have tried searching using every resource I can think of, including the manufacturer, Shire Pharmaceuticals, but I can't locate any current coupons. It also seems that they have discontinued their patient assistance program for this medication. The only ones I've found are some of the supposed discount drugs cards to be used at different pharmacies, but they are not actually guaranteed to give any type of discount, because the pharmacies are not obligated to actually accept them. I have been diagnosed with ADHD and Adrenal Fatigue. I take 5 20mg Ritalin in the morning. I also take 100mg. Of Topomax at night for prevention of migraines. I am exhausted ALL the time. The Ritalin barely keeps me awake till noon. I've tried both Provigil and Nuvigil and both made me tired. Adderal did the same as the Ritalin. Any ideas??? I'm sleeping my life away! ## Adrenal Fatigue is usually related to stress and over activity; which in this case, it sounds like both are related to the ADHD. Narrowing it down in this sense can help you focus your primary goal on treating the ADHD and not so much the adrenal fatigue that is likely a result of the tension ADHD may be causing. Dose anybody know the Inactive Filler To Active Ingredient Ratio Of Adderall Xr. Caps got damp emptied lots of little orang balls from multiple caps into a small dish and need to know how much a dose should weigh. And tess I have a mg scale. ## Your best course of action might be to just open and weigh one of the other capsules that didn't get damp, but that's not going to be exactly precise and could alter your dose, which might be dangerous. Alternatively, if you explain to your doctor what happened, you may be able to get replacements for the lost capsules. Have you tried asking your doctor, or pharmacist for advice?

I am 36 yr old female diagnosed with ADD 2 yrs ago. I was originally on 30mg of vyvanse and that was great. I had to stop taking it bc I was pregnant. I was put back on it a month ago after being off of it for a year and it was not the same. It only worked for a couple hrs and I lost appetite. So dr put me on concerta. This is my second day and I dont like it. It takes forever to kick in and it makes me angry and so sleepy. Will this change? Is this common? Is the dose to low or high? I dropped my adderall in a bowl of olive oil and it's coated. Will it still work if I take it? p.s it's adderall IR, not XR ## In theory, I wouldn't think it would create any problems, but I'd suggest talking to your pharmacist to be certain. They often have more information on some obscure interactions that this site doesn't have. I am just basing my guess off the fact that there are no warnings between using it and eating products that use olive oil. The only issue I can really see with out information is if they pill was in it long enough to start dissolving, then you may not get the full dosage. Does anyone else have information on this?

does vivan used for ADHD have side effects such as sleepiness, swollen legs and feet, hot flashes, lack of a monthly menestration, and hands and arms that ache a lot? ## DId you mean Vyvanse, which contains the active ingredient Lisdexamfetamine? If so, you should contact your doctor as soon as possible, the aches and swelling could be signs of serious reactions to this medication, which may require proper medical treatment.

Is it safe to mix metadate, ritalin and respridal? My sons dr. had him on all three at once and he was like a zombie, so I stopped guving them to him. ## Have you consulted his doctor? There are no interactions listed between using them together, however, the problem was probably caused by the Risiperdal. It is a very potent antipsychotic and is well known to cause extreme sedation in some people, especially at higher dosages. What dose was he on? ## He was on 3mg of respridal. He gained an extreme amount of weight and even developed breast, which I thought were a result of the weight gain. After he was off the respridal he lost the weight but he still has breast tissue, even after exercise nothing changed.
