I've been given this white oblong (capule shaped? Not sure what the shape is called) pill with a scorching down the middle and one side is blank the other side has a Q & 300 imprinted on either side of the scorching. My pharmacist changed manufacturers and this is what I was given for my percocet 10/325. Can anyone help verify if this is the correct medicine? ## @BamBam, A white oblong pill imprinted with I 71 is reportedly identified as Bupropion HCL extended-release (300 mg), which is an antidepressant medication. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Cipla USA and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 69097-0876. Manufacturer: Novopharm, Canada. The only thing is, this pill is regarded as an oblong light yellow capsule filled with white powder. It has an "N" and "300" written in a blueish grey. I found this pill going through a family members house who passed on what is it? It's long oblong shaped and white with 300 on one side nothing else ## There's a 750mg Levetiracetam ER tablet that is white and oblong shaped, but it has "1300" embedded on one side and blank on the other. Any chance that the "1" could've gotten smudged off or is difficult to see? If it's of any help, this particular medication is used for treating epilepsy. Do you know of any family members who might be taking something like this? Unfortunately that's the closest representation of what I could find here. ANXIETY ## This is not used for anxiety. It is Avapro 300mg. It is a medication used for high blood pressure and to help expel any extra water in the body. Side effects include inability to pass urine, heart palpitations, dizziness. ## Yep, nenene is correct, the generic/drug name for this is Irbesartan, and it is most definitely an Angiotensin II Receptor Agonist, which really has no other uses other than to lower blood pressure. I even looked up several monographs on it, at various sites, and anti-hypertensive is the only use that is indicated and approved by the FDA and stated by the manufacturers. I supposed it is possible the person thought, by the looks of it, that is was some form of antianxiety med or a Benzo. Many people do assume that all meds that are related or the same look...
