But now she is facing problem of continuous acidity and vomitting feel. What could be the reason that after reducing one tablet also acidity increasing? Is there any need of using anti acidity tablet along with AKT3? Please advice. ## @VVK, Sorry to hear about your mother's condition with acidity. my pain is too much to handle. the doctor cannot give me more than 30 tablets of hydrocodone/acetaminophen at a time. So I need to know how many Tylenol to take to help me. ## Hi Nikki, To my understanding, no amount of tylenol (acetaminophen) is equivalent to the effects of Hydrocodone, before experiencing what would be considered an overdose of acetaminophen - which can be extremely toxic to the liver. It sounds like your best bet would probably be to ask your doctor for a stronger pain medication (that you can take less of) or opt for a safer, more natural alternative that can be used as an adjunctive therapy to what you already take. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Hydrocodone Details I hope this helps!

Have you asked them for more details? ## Take Disencher its double strength of TBR its a dispersible form of enzyme just dissolve in 15 ml water.

I have to take rifampin for two years. What are the side effects I should worry about? ## Hello, Tazzy! How are you? Sorry about the TB! This medication does have a risk of hepatoxicity, so your doctor should be monitoring you and checking your liver function regularly via blood panels. Its side effects may include nausea, flushing, dizziness and flu-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am taking blong, linoux, ethide, qpas, remylin, coxerin and hansepran tablets for treating tb. Please let me know the side effects of blong tablets.

Is it safe to crush this pill? The directions say not to crush it, but it is too big to swallow. ## No, it is not safe to do so. Potassium is very harsh on your gastro-intestinal system, so crushing or breaking the tablet could lead to your developing ulcers, gastritis, or other similar conditions that may be life-threatening. The stomach pain and gastro-irritation that it causes are the most common side effects that the FDA lists for it. Have you talked to your prescriber about this issue? If your insurance covers it, you may be able to have an IV infusion of potassium, instead of taking the tablets. ## I solved the problem by having my Dr. prescribe 10meq. If you take 2 now you would take 4. Much easier to swallow. ## I had the same problem. I was supplied with the uncoated pill and i...

I just started this med today for sciatica. I've taken 5 out of the 6 tablets for today so far. Experiencing fatigue, dizziness, severe muscle cramping in legs and hands, racing heartbeat and feeling totally out of it. I think the side effects are worse than the pain. Can I just stop taking this without more serious problems? Please help as I really don't want to take it anymore! ## If you've taken that many and your doctor wanted you to taper it, it would be best to continue to do so, unless they instruct otherwise. Everything you've described can be normal side effects of steroid medications, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience insomnia, nervousness and acne. How are you feeling, now? Has there been any change? ## My doctor told me to stop taking. Feeling b...

I am having severe back pain. can I take 2 tablets at night? One is not helping. ## Well, you should be made aware that all products containing Propoxyphene have been pulled from the U.S. market by the FDA. It has been shown to cause severe cardiac problems, some of which, have even been fatal. In light of this, I have to say no, it is not safe to use and you should consult your doctor for an alternative and any remaining tablets of this medication should be properly disposed of. Are there any questions or comments?

My wife will be taking hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 500 tb for the first time to help her get through her physical therapy. How long before the therapy starts should she take the pill to get maximum relief during the session. ## It's really difficult to say, because it takes 15 to 20 minutes for the regular release tablets like this to start being digested and enter someone's blood stream and then, of course, you want it to be working, before she goes in for the session to minimize the pain. I'd say she should take it at least half an hour before. Learn more Vicodin details here. However, I'm not a doctor, so I'd suggest she call hers and ask them, just to be certain. Additionally, like all analgesics, they really work better at preventing pain, rather than relieving ...

I take generic Norco: hydrocodone -acetaminophen 10-325 TB. Which works fine. However for a month, I took hydrocodone -acetaminophen-325 (no TB mentioned anyhere). Miserable. Did not work as well and was in tears. Are these the same generic ingredients in both meds? Or should I insist on "TB" since the generic norco refers to hydrocodone -acetaminophen 10-325 TB. ## Hello, Mickie! How are you? Sorry that you were in pain. But the TB just stands for tablet, that's all that it specifies, so there was nothing different between the two. Without knowing the markings on the tablets or the manufacturers, I have no way of knowing if you were ever taking a different generic, or if it's always been the same one. Can you check with your pharmacy and post back? Thanks! ## Is availab...

A member of staff has been told he has Chronic Testicular TB. He has been given Doxytet tablets to take (100mg) twice daily and told to report back to the hospital if the discomfort and pain does not improve. They will then operate? For TB? We cannot understand this reasoning -can you give some advice on the Testicular TB? He is using the State Hospitals and seems to get nowhere fast. We feel he needs to be further evaluation and he is truly very afraid of being operated on. ## Yes, it is an actual condition. The bacterium that cause TB can move through the body, travel through the lymph nodes and infect other organs, although the lungs are the most common. There is a risk of it causing permanent infertility, and contributing to some forms of cancer. It would be best for him to take the...

I have been taking hydrocodone/ Acetaminophen 5-325 TB FOR YEARS FOR CHRONIC PAIN. When I just picked up my most recent prescription the pharmacy substituted Hydrocodone/ Acetaminophen 5-300 TB. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE TWO MEDICATIONS? Are there different side effects, and how might they manage my pain differently? ## From what you've listed, the only difference is the dosage of Acetaminophen that each contains, one contains 325mgs and the the other contains 300mgs of it. How is it working for you? What are the markings on the tablets? The FDA warns the Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

How many can you take if the doctor recommended 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed? Can you take more if pain is still extreme after 3 hours? ## Hi Grammy, There are a number of reasons why I wouldn't advise taking anything more than what is recommended by your doctor. However, if you feel that what you were prescribed just isn't strong enough, a higher dosage may be something to discuss at your next appointment. While I do know patients who have taken more than this without experiencing repercussions, it's important to understand that everyone responds differently based on their tolerance as well as other individual factors. And due to the high risk of liver damage, it also doesn't seem like a good idea to take more than 325mg of Acetaminophen in one sitting on a reg...
