my husband is 52 yrs old is it alright to give him shelcal 500 mg 1 a day to keep him away from knee and occasional shoulder pain he takes alcohol of 2 to 3 pegs of brandy or whisky per day.does it have any side effects. ## ShelCal is just a nutritional supplement that contains Calcium and Calcitrol. My 72 yr old sister takes four shellcal 500 tablets for her joint pains. And it turns out that she has been doing this for quite some time.What are the side effects or risks? ## Has she consulted her doctor? Shelcal contains a calcium supplement and 2,000mgs a day isn't really a crazy, dangerous amount to take, unless her doctor says it is not safe.

I have taken a capsule power M-150 for the nerve of my leg is pinching and it was taken from medplus shop at culture more, nimta, kolkata-700049 18 months ago. IS SHEL CAL CT IS HELPFUL IN KNEES PAIN, AND DIES IT CREAT CONSTIPATION. ## This is nothing more than a calcium supplement, therefore, if the pain is in the joints and caused by loss of cartilage or injury, it isn't going to do much for that. And yes, Calcium supplements are known to cause constipation in some people that take it.
