I have now been on suboxone for a year, I got on it when I found out I was pregnant last January 2013 and I had my beautiful healthy daughter in August 2013 I used to be on subutex during my pregnancy but once I had my daughter I was switched to suboxone. I am on 2 1/2 strips a day and my doctor has been wanting to lower my dose however I have so much going on that I am really nervous to do so. I have lately been dealing with my daughter on my own her father just didn't show me the respect I deserved and he wasn't willing to work to support our daughter so we separated and now I am left on my own with all the finances out daughter and looking for employment which this all just recently happened since the last time I saw my doctor on top of that my daughter has medical issues due...

I have severe Fibromyalgia and i am hurting non stop 24/7 in my neck, back, legs, and feet. I hurt so bad that the smallest task is so difficult for me to do. I can't function during the day and no matter what sleeping meds I take I can't sleep. The problem is I am 22 and no-one wants to give me much of anything for the pain. And won't take my pain very seriously because of my age. I am not trying to get high. I am DESPERATE for some relief so I can have some quality of life. Can someone please let me know of a doctor in the Chattanooga area or somewhere around there (I am willing to travel a bit) that gives out oxycodon freely? Preferably one that doesn't have to have my doctor request me because I'm afraid he won't because again he doesn't think I'm as ...

I have been prescribed alprazolam for over 2 years and was wondering if there is a chat room for xanax users or is this forum the most similar to a chat room? ## You are welcome to chat on here and ask any questions you may have. Has anyone else used this medication long-term? ## I lost my job and therefore I have no insurance and can not afford my doctor. Does anyone know of a web-based pharmacy where I can fill a prescription for my meds legally over the internet? ## No matter how those websites present themselves, most of them are dispensing prescription drugs illegally. In order to make them appear legitimate, they may have you briefly consult with a medical professional by phone who will prescribe the drug to you. However, more often than not this process necessarily circumvents la...

I'm going to a methadone clinic but it is expensive,I have Medicare part A,B,and,D and am looking for a doctor to write me methadone so my insurance will pay.my dose is100mg daily so300 10mg tablets are what I need. ## I have been on done since1996,I need a Dr to write me methadone rx so my insurance will pay it. ## Hello, Timothy! How are you? I'm sorry, but under current law, a clinic is your only option for Methadone treatment. A private practice doctor is not allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment or maintenance. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Have been on Eliquis for about 4 weeks as a result of an AFib event and ER visit, turning into a week hospital stay. Terrible side effects. I sway between teeth-chattering coldness to profuse heat and sweating. My bedding is soaked through every night. But, worse of all is this funky medicinal body odor that I can't escape, even with 3-4 baths/showers a day. It's so disgusting that it makes me sick to my stomach. Also have awful metallic taste in mouth, so all food or drink tastes terrible. Along with the fatigue, insomnia, memory problems, these effects are making this drug intolerable for me. I haven't read of others having the body smell though. Is anyone else experiencing this? ## I also am trying to determine the source of body odor since I started taking Eliquis along ...

Can anyone tell me what I have. It's a round blue pill slight speckled, has a letter A over the number 324 and on the reverse there's like a Crescent moon with what looks like an R. CanT for the life of me work out what they are? Any ideas? They were told to be 10mg blue valium. However I can't trust it due to lack of info. ## I've only come across one other user in this chat and they are asking the same question. I've tried pill trackers but to no avail. If I had to guess I'd say they were black market.

In one of the chats someone was saying APAP stood for Acetaminophen & Propoxyphene, which makes sense considering the initials, and in all your other answers you say APAP stands for Acetaminophen (only). Why have you dropped the Propoxyphene from your other answers & what the heck is Propoxyphene anyway? I take a generically filled prescription of Fioricet & APAP is one of the listed ingredients. ## Hi Pamela - APAP is ONLY Acetaminophen (aka Tylenol) and has nothing to do with Propoxyphene. "Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen or APAP, is a widely used over-the-counter pain medication and antipyretic (fever reducer)." [1] By the way, Darvocet propoxyphene was discontinued in the US in 2009: "In January 2009, an FDA advisory committee voted 14 to 12 against ...

I took Chatix a few years ago and quit for almost two years. Then I started smoking again. I went back on Chantix - when I was ready for the second package my doctor was away but I had some left from the last time (they were expired by 6 months) so I have been taking them - it is day 39 and Im still smoking - I missed several doses during this time - forgot to take 1 pill here and there - I don't want to start all over - can I just start the new rx (the second pack - which I just had refilled) and pick a quit date within the week??? suggestions ## Hello, Emilia! How are you? What has your doctor advised? I really don't think you'd need to fully start over, but that is up to your physician. As to still smoking, the medication can't do it all, you do have to try to stop, a...

I've been on coumadin since 2001 when I had a dvt and have had no problem with it...ever. Now, my doctor wants me to try xarelto, I'm scared. Should I stay on coumadin or make the switch? Thanks!! ## Well, in this case, what I'd suggest doing is going to your doctor and discussing it with them. Schedule a consultation, so you can have a sit down chat about it and ask them why they want you to make the switch, specifically what benefits do they see you getting from the new medication that you don't get with the old. It is really the best way to calm your fears and get the precise details you need that will enable you to make an informed decision regarding what the best choice is for you. On day 4 of sub detox, starting 5th day this evening. Anyone else out there doing this? Would love someone to chat with. ## Hello, DeeDee! How are you? I've never taken Suboxone, so I have no experience with coming off of it, but I can tell you that according to the FDA, some of the withdrawal symptoms may include nausea, headache, rebound pain, diarrhea and chills. How are you feeling? Is it going well? Others should be warned that this medication is a narcotic opiate, so it can be habit forming and withdrawing should only be done under the supervision of your doctor.

I'm not sure if anyone else is having trouble paying for their Ozempic in the US. My health insurance decided to eliminate it from my coverage last month and my pharmacy in Flagstaff was quoting me $800+. Saw some chatter about filling my prescription from Canada and I decided to give it a try with insulin outlet. I thought I would have trouble but it saved a lot of money. If anyone is having the same problem, I hope this info helps. ## I am Type II diabetic & have Medicare part D through CIGNA. Cigna denied Ozempic. Novo (maker of Ozempic) has a patient assistance program called PAP & they approved it & the med gets shipped directly to my physicians office. Might look into that

My Dr prescribed Phenazopyridine for what we thought was a UTI. I took 1 pill and about 1-2 hrs later I got the most horrible chills where my whole body was shaking very strongly, my teeth were chattering and I was freezing. I got sever lower back pain as well as a throbbing headache. I'm in Phx where it was over 100 degree. I had this reaction once before to an OTC called Uristadt. I have not read anywhere that this medicine causes all the side effects like I have described, especially the chills where my body shook uncontrollably. Can you help identify if these effects are possible, but more rare with this medicine? Oh, and it turned out I did not have a UTI...but I had all of the symptoms that my Dr. said could have been caused by passing a kidney stone. ## No, I am not find thos...
