I have been diagnosed with having a mycobacterium infection. I am currently working asking one tablet in the morning and one in the afternoon to the Bactrim DS 800/160mg. Is there anything stronger? I have just taken the pm dose of day four. Should I be seeing signs this medication working by now? My doctor says I may have to have surgery to remove infection if the Bactrim doesn't work. ## This is a very potent antibiotic. my 11 year old son has strep and the MD gave keflex 500mg twice a day he doesnt take antibiotics that often wouldnt 250mg be suficiant ## Is his case of strep severe? You should not be cutting Hyslinga, it is a time released medication and doing so may result in your getting too much of the medication, at once. However, generally you can take Tylenol with it, as long as your doctor approves. Hello, I have been taking one Oxycodone 10/325 three times a day along with 15mg of Morphine 3 times a day for a year now. I am now in need of something stronger for my chronic back pain. I have severe back and hip pain, my right hip has dropped down almost a half inch causing my back bone to off center. I have tried multiple forms of treatment with no success. I have taken a variety of muscle relaxers, and none of them have worked. I am currently taking 20 mg of baclofen 3 times a day. Someone need to look into it i have been taking them for about 5yrs they are not strong at all like the old opana thank ## They changed the formulation, to help prevent abuse, similar to what was done with Oxycontin and, just like then, it seems that the new formulation just doesn't work as well for some people, though in theory, it is supposed to. I've been taking the muscle relaxers flexeril 10mg 2x a day and or methocarbamol 750mg 3-4x a day. Neither of them work. What is the strongest relaxer I can ask my dr for. I am prescribed lortab 10 every 4 hours as needed, soma 350 mg 1 every 4 hours as needed, 15 mg of ambien each night. I am sleepless n Alabama and need to desperately find a safe way to get off this medication. I have no insurance.....please help. ## If you're simply looking for a powerful sleep aid to deal with insomnia, I'd highly recommend considering medical marijuana (that is of an indica variety). It may also be of great benefit to any emotional pain you might be dealing with when it comes to withdrawing off those medications. I'm not aware of the legality of cannabis in Alabama, but for someone with no insurance, it's something you can easily grow for personal use at very little cost. Have you talked to your doctor about a safe way to taper off?

I start a new muscle relaxer tonight called Baclofen. I'd been taking Soma fit years and it's just not helping with the terrible spasms anymore. I'm hoping the Baclofen does the trick.
