Which is stronger hydroxyzine 50mg, 25mg or 10mg ## Hello, Josephine! How are you? I know prescription medications can be confusing, but the higher the number the higher the dose. Thankfully, they have not defied basic math. :-) Thus, the 50mg is the strongest one. This is an antihistamine that is used to treat allergic reaction, nausea and for its sedative like effects. Side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have a fever and I took halv of a hyd 40 about an hour ago can I take Tylenol with it? ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? You should not be cutting Hyslinga, it is a time released medication and doing so may result in your getting too much of the medication, at once. However, generally you can take Tylenol with it, as long as your doctor approves. But you may experience more side effects than usual, as reported by the FDA, so you may feel more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than at other times. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hello, I have been taking one Oxycodone 10/325 three times a day along with 15mg of Morphine 3 times a day for a year now. I am now in need of something stronger for my chronic back pain. What would be recommended? Thanks! ## There are stronger doses of both available, though one would not contain the additional Acetaminophen, just the Oxycodone. Your doctor should be able to help you figure out what might work best and safest for you. The FDA does warn that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Has your doctor made any suggestions?

I have severe back and hip pain, my right hip has dropped down almost a half inch causing my back bone to off center. I have tried multiple forms of treatment with no success. It's this something I can increase in dosage, or is there a stronger muscle relaxer? I really NEED to relieve the tension in my hip. ## Hello, Megan! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. You shouldn't take more of the Baclofen than your doctor has prescribed. Taking to much could cause dangerous depression of the central nervous system, which could be fatal, since it can lower heart rate and breath rate. Which other ones have you tried? I am prescribed lortab 10 every 4 hours as needed, soma 350 mg 1 every 4 hours as needed, 15 mg of ambien each night. I am sleepless n Alabama and need to desperately find a safe way to get off this medication. I have no insurance.....please help. ## If you're simply looking for a powerful sleep aid to deal with insomnia, I'd highly recommend considering medical marijuana (that is of an indica variety). It may also be of great benefit to any emotional pain you might be dealing with when it comes to withdrawing off those medications. I'm not aware of the legality of cannabis in Alabama, but for someone with no insurance, it's something you can easily grow for personal use at very little cost. Have you talked to your doctor about a safe way to taper off?
