Korea Pill

My Korean doctor gave me a prescription for weight loss tablets. One is small, white and oval in shape with the letter C (score) A. Any ideas? The other is a regular capsule size, light and dark green. Imprinted on one side are the letters CHO-A (I'm assuming it's from Choa pharmaceuticals) then BEA on the other end. No numbers. Nothing further.

What is this Korean pill? Orange and White capsule with YN RPC-5 printed on it. ## Hello, Sheryl! How are you? I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find any information on this. Does anyone else recognize this? ## i think the pill actually read YH RCP -5 half orange half white. 1. Oval White pill with SD on one side/OF on the other side 2. Round White pill with TSM 3. Light orange round pill with HMP on one side/MOL on the other side 4. Round White pill with Y. CIMETDN 200 on it ## Hi Mickey, Of the four pills you mentioned I've only been able to find clues on the last one marked with "Y. CIMETDN 200". I suspect based on the spelling, that this particular pill MAY contain 200 mgs of "Cimetidine". This drug is indicated for use in treating symptoms of GERD (such as heardburn, acid reflux, gastric ulcers, as well as some stomach disorders). Unfortunately the other tablets still remain a mystery to me. However, if you're able to, I would encourage you to try and get the pills analyzed by a lab so you can be 100% certain of what you have. patient is using HMP and suspen ER what are these medications? ## Hello, Diane! How are you? From what I've found, Suspen ER is a time released formulation of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. As to the HMP, that is actually a logo for a Korean pharmaceutical manufacture, not the name of a medication. The pill should have HMP on one side and some other markings on it that would enable it to be identified. Can you ask the patient and post back?

Looking for small blue weight loss pill from South Korea. Been trying to get it refilled but doctor in USA not familar with it ## Hi Marie, Do you happen to know the name of the medication that was prescribed to you in Korea? As long as the language on the script could be translated into English, I don't see why a doctor wouldn't be able to distinguish what the active ingredients are and determine their availability here in the US. The most common weight loss drug that I'm aware of here in the US goes by the name of Phentermine. My opinion is if you can't get a doctor to understand the script, then opting for something that's more commonly recognized, such as Phentermine, may be a more feasible route to go; that way you don't run into anymore problems with gettin...

It is a small round white pill with an O P separated by a score on one side and on the other side three squares arranged so that if there was another square added to the bottom left corner it would form a square made of four squares. Thank you.

Small white pill with G Z separated by the score down the middle on one side and plain scored on the back. I found this pill on my kitchen floor and I want to know if its one of my kids friends or completely innocent. I'm a nurse but don't recognise it. Help appreciated. ## I believe its innocent. I'm in Korea right now and have bronchitis and i was just looking for the same info as the doctor has given me this same G Z white round tablet. Since i dont speak korean i have been searching for info. So far, no luck. But i take it that the pill you found is innocent. If it was anything recreational they probably would have been a bit more careful with it lol. ## The research I've done leads me to believe that this pill may be from Canada, but I am not totally certain of that...

I'm trying to identify an oval peach colored pill with KD on one side and 113 on the other from Korea... ## Hello Jr, Fortunately I was able to identify the pill as a Micronized purified flavonoid fraction 500mg (MPFF) pill. White capsule with KVC on one side and 1000 on the other ## Hi Cenic, The closest match I'm finding to your description is that of a white capsule-shaped/oblong pill marked with "KOS" on one side and "1000" on the other. This pill is identified as Niaspan ER 1000 mg; used in the treatment of high cholesterol, niacin deficiency, and more. Manufacturer: Kos Pharmaceuticals Does this sound like a possible match considering that the imprint isn't far off? ## Kind of, however the part where I run into problems is that the imprint says KVC very clearly. I found it in my room and am curious due to the fact I don't take any medicine. ## It's a vitamin C pill. Nothing to worry about. They're very popular in South Korea.

I found these pills with what appear to be Mandarin Chinese characters on the foil packaging. The pills themselves are light blue on the left side, white on the right side. The blue side says "SCP" while the white side is labeled "OM." It looks like they are capsules, most likely with the powdered drug on the inside. I have no idea what sort of medicine these might be. ## Also, the pills are oblong and medium sized. They are sort of flat, but may have started life in a more cylindrical fashion, since I found them in the street. ## UPDATE the pills have Korean writing, not chinese, on the foil packaging. I still cannot decipher it, and web searches come up empty. ## I've tried searching several times, since I first saw your post and I have to admit that so far, I am s...
