can I safely take hydrocodone 10 325 with 800 mg ibuprofen-I've been on hydro for years and I'm ha ving alot of pain now ## Yes you can take both. Ibuprofen is for inflammation. If taking it helps, you need to tell your dr. ## Hi Willy, Sorry to hear about the extent of your pain. From what I've found they actually do make a combination of Hydrocodone + Ibuprofen under the following brand names: Vicoprofen, Reprexain, and Ibudone. Perhaps you could ask your doctor about trying one of these as an alternative to the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, if you have any concerns about it's potential cumulative effects on liver health with long term use? Overcoming the pain is what matters, but I just try to encourage the safest methods possible if it can be helped. None the less, I hope...

got from dentist prescription today AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THEY ARE SAFE TO TAKE TOGETHER.I GOT 8 TEETH EXTRACTED TODAY. ## The 5/500 one contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen and generally, the Acetaminophen shouldn't be mixed with the Ibuprofen, unless he specifically instructed you to use both. DId they provide any specific instructions?

what is hydrocodoneI8 ## I've heard of Hydrocodone, but not of Hydrocodonei8 - where did you see this? Or is i8 the imprint on a pill you have? ## The pill is oval in shape, white no score mark, and has the imprint of I8 on it. I was told it is hydrocodone. When i searched it out it siad it looks out on the medical it said it remsembles a M360 Hydro ## Would you happen to know what country this medication was obtained from? If it is from the United States, then the predominant possibility is that it is actually an Ibuprofen 800 mg. Another similar marking is IB (instead of an 8), and that's a 200 mg Ibuprofen. Are there any other details which can be included? ## if the I8 is really IB except for the use of my magnifier it is an I8, not B. what is the imprint I9?

Having real bad ear infection pain, I took two 5/325 norco and ibuprofen 800 for inflammation. Should i not have taken them at the same time? ## Hello, Purdy! How are you? They can be taken together, as long as your doctor has instructed you to take them both. But, as reported by the FDA, you may experience more side effects than usual, such as more intense nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I took half of a Lortab 10; the white one with m367 on one side and a line on the other, but before that I took 4 ibuprofen 200 mg which 4 made it 800 mg. I can't sleep. I'm supposed to take my blood pressure medicine at 11/12 tonight but I haven't.

Hi,Ive recently began suboxone treatment @ (8mg/2mg) twice daily, today is my 3rd day. My question is straightforward, how many mgs of suboxone is "considered" closely equal to only 80 mg of hydrocodone? Am simply trying very hard to get my dose correct, seems doctor overmedicated me during induction. I would greatly appreciate any feedback, thanks & best wishes to everyone. ## Hello, Staci! How are you? There really is no direct conversion, but the rough one that's usually used is 1.2mgs of the Buprenorphine to each 30mgs of Hydrocodone, but the person's overall tolerance to narcotics must be factored in, along with the fact that the Suboxone is dosed once a day, where the other was taken several times a day. So, that's probably why you were given the 8/2 dosage. Ha...

Can I take all three at da same time. The ibuprofen is 800 mg.the hydrocodone is 7.5.the pencilling is 600 Mg. ## Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Ibuprofen, Hydrocodone, and Penicillin; deeming them as safe to take together. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. I hope this helps to answer your question!

Is it safe to take the Hydrocodone 10/325 now? ## They can usually be taken together, unless your doctor or pharmacist has instructed you not to combine them. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are you on any other medications?

This s**t has turned me in to a sleepy, soft and lazy skin bag, I was once a rock hard, athletic beach body. I blew out my knees on my KTM and had orthioscopic surgery on both. I just had eye surgery and was given Norco (4x a day) and Motrin (3x a day) to take for pain, can I take them at the same time or do I need to space them out? ## Hi Chris, Hope you're recovering well from the surgery. From what I could gather, there are no drug interactions listed between Norco (acetaminophen + hydrocodone) and Motrin (ibuprofen). So I don't see why it wouldn't be ok to take them both together if that's what you need to do in order to achieve adequate pain relief. Also as long as it's the same doctor who prescribed both, I think that he/she would've informed you up front of any possible risks involved with doing so if there really were serious consequences to be had. I hope this helps!

if i was taking approx 80mgs of norco (10/325) 3x a day what would the equal dose of 40mg opana er be? ## this is only posted because my doc has takenen me off the norcos and i dont want to feel the effects of withdrawl...i would rather wean myself but need to know where to start!! ## The Oxymorphone in the Opana is much stronger than the Hydrocodone in the Norco, so it would only take 26.67mgs of it a day to equal the 80mgs of Hydrocodone in the Norco that you were taking. Learn more Norco details here. Learn more Opana details here. Why did your doctor take you off of it? How long were you taking it?

What could be the result of combining Hydrocodone with Temazapam, Zolpidem,Propranolol, Simvastatin, and Venlafaxine? Combine this with 100 mg diphenhydramine, Alteril, & Estroven. ## Well, the first thing that jumps out at me is the Diphenydramine, why is she taking 100mgs of that? That's usually not recommended in doses over 50mgs. Learn more Diphenhydramine details here. And there can be some issues with taking all of these, but it really depends on the dosages and her tolerance to them. So, the next question is, are they all prescribed by the same doctor and filled by the same pharmacy? Or has she been using multiple doctors and pharmacies to get them? ## Wow...zolpidem with benadryl??? The hydro is fine and the others but not simultaneously. Zolpidem @5 mgs is stronger than ...

I am taking a 80 mg a day of hydrocodone / Acetaminophen and trying lower down to 40 mg a day to 20 mg a day then 10 mg a day, and 10 every 24 hours without having to have extreme opiate withdrawals, please tell me if I can use fioricet for opiate withdrawals. what do need to know. ## Hello, Will363! How are you? If you're doing a slow taper, your withdrawals should be minimal. How long have you been taking it? How fast of a taper are you doing? It takes at least a week, between each dosage drop, for your body to adjust. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And no, there is really nothing in the Fioricet to help.
