after taking shelcal500 finds some discomfort palputation inthe stomach is it okay to continue/ ## Had severe painin my neck and shoulder .My doctor prescribed me shelcal 500and alphaD3 twice daily . After taking the pills as prescribed, for one month no reaction . I feel better and the pain vanished . after that I felt my stomach palpulating ,jumping like and felt coming out of my mouth . Then I stopped the medicine for 2 days . No discomfort or palpulating stomach reduced my dosage to once a day . after some days again I felt some discomfort in the stomach and then again went to see the doctor . can anyone clarify the difference between shelcal and gem cal? ## Some of the ingredients are different. Shelcal contains Calcium Carbonate and Vitamin D3. Gemcal contains:calcitriol 0.25 mcg, calcium carbonate 500 mg amd zinc 7.5 mg. So it is what they provide and their formulations, it depends on what your body needs and what your doctor recommends that you use.
