I haven't been able to fill my Norco 10/325's for over a week now. I started at my RiteAid pharmecy and waiting a week. Now I am out and I have called other local RiteAid pharmecies and Safeway pharmecies and they are all out, don't know when they will get more AND claim they get a little at a time. Anyone else having this problem? ## Hello, Delia! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. However, if you're calling pharmacies, you're not going to get an accurate answer. They have no way of knowing if the person on the other end of the phone is a legitimate patient with a need, or a potential thief, so they will typically give such excuses. To get an accurate answer, you'll need to physically go to the pharmacies, with your prescription...

My doctor prescribed Oxycodone 10 mg on the 21st of July; it's still not filled. I went to my regular pharmacy, Walgreens and I was told they don't have it, and should ask my doctor to prescribe something different. So now the pharmacist is a doctor? This medicine prescribed by him because it was the best solution to my retractable pain of my spine literally dissolving which is compressing my nerves. I have three blown discs in my cervical area and three blown discs, one with a 9 mm synovial cyst in it, in my lumbar area which is causing Levoscoliosis. I called every pharmacy within my area and not one could help me. I was rejected by all until I called Costco. I'm on suboxone right now and want to switch to subutex because I'm afraid if there is ever an emergency and I need surgery suboxone will be a huge issue. ## Hello, Ashalee! How are you? I'm afraid they will not let you switch for such a reason. The risk of that ever happening is very low, but if someone is being treated for addiction, there is a fairly big risk that they may abuse other drugs, while being treated, thus Suboxone is the preferred choice. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I just moved to Riverside CA from Texas and I have been on Adderall for years. I just ran out of my last pill, but now I cannot seem to find any doctor that will even see me to write me a prescription. The doctors that are willing to see me but will not guarantee me anything are booked for the next month anyways. I am getting very desperate, and I feel like I am out of options. Does anyone know of any suggestions or any doctors in the Los Angeles area that will prescribe Adderall? ## Hello, Brian! How are you? If you're calling doctors to ask them to write you a prescription for this, you're just going to continue to have problems. Doctors and their staff are taught to view that as being drug seeking behavior and you're asking for a medication that can be habit forming and i...

i have a back injury i have been on norco for almost a year my doctor says a new ca. law says she has to bring me off norco and replace it with tramadol that soon no will be able to get norco unless you just had surgery is this true ## Yes, from what I've learned that is basically correct. General practitioners won't be able to prescribe such medications, except in emergency cases after recent injury or surgery. Learn more pain management details here. If someone suffers from a condition that causes long-term chronic pain, they have to see a pain management specialist for treatment to continue having such medications prescribed. A lot of it has to do with the abuse of the medications by many people, the fact that many doctors aren't specially trained to treat people that in ...

I’ve had some degree of came off and on for over three years. I have been missed diagnosed twice and now have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. I’m not sure if anyone really knows what I have. I do not abuse my pain medication but the dose I am giving has not been enough to manage my pain. I am in level five or more 24 hours a day. I have tried talking to them many many doctors I have about getting me a good pain management doctor and I keep hearing that they are hesitant to prescribe opiates for fibromyalgia. Friend has Rx.for surgery tomorrow... Doses anyone know which pharmacy has it? ## Hello, Mary! How are you and your friend? I'd actually suggest she check with the hospital pharmacy. This medication has been hard to find right now, due to labeling changes and shortages, but hospital pharmacies usually have a larger supply just for such purposes as surgical pain relief. They might be able to fill it for her. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone know who/where I can get Redotex nf from? I am in Southern California, so ideally from someone local (to avoid the risk of sending money to a fraud) but I am open to any and all suggestions. Thanks! ## The FDA has actually placed an import ban on this product, since it has been found to contain undeclared drug ingredients in a potentially dangerous combination. They list the ingredients as including a hormone, an amphetamine like stimulant, a respiratory/circulatory stimulant, a laxative, and a benzodiazepine. Thus, on top of the potential risks to taking all of this stuff together, it also carries the risk of being habit forming. As a result, it is illegal in the U.S. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Where can I fill a prescription for Redotex if I live in San Die...

Please help...If you know of a doctor in northern california who will prescribe methadone around 180 monthly for a severe spinal injury, please let me know. I am a good man with kids just trying to live a normal life..I have great medical coverage but cant find a doc that will help ...thank you and bless your family. ## The biggest problem you may be having is trying to ask a doctor for a specific medication. Any doctor can prescribe Methadone for pain, but if you're specifically asking for it, then they see that as drug seeking behavior. The best thing you can do is to go see a new doctor and make sure that they are sent, or that you take with you, a full copy of your medical records. If they can see the diagnoses and what works to help you, as has been documented by a fellow physi...

Hello. I'm a stage 4 cancer patient that's been dealing with criminal chronic pain for many years now with tons of surgeries. I had two doctors that retired here in Sacramento both for about five years before they retired and they prescribed me the medications that I needed for pain back then and they were my primary care doctors. Hi. I'm hoping someone with experience dealing with pharmacies can help me understand something. Last month I was in the process of waiting on a Prior Authorization for my insurance for Fentanyl patches, and since I was due to fill my prescription I was dispensed 1 box of patches to pay cash for while waiting for coverage approval. Normally I get 4 boxes to last the month, and when I asked about what would happen when the PA was approved I was informed that the pharmacy couldn't dispense more than 4 boxes per month. Fair enough, I didn't want anything extra or early, I just wanted to know if we would be able to get the insurance coverage aligned with the next dispensing so I wouldn't have to continue paying for 1 box into the future. I paid for the 1 box on July 23rd, an...

Does California's state insurance Medi Cal cover the doctor visits on suboxone and that medication? I live in Southern California. Any information would help. Thank You !!! ## Hi Danielle, I believe you may have to contact MediCal directly for up to date information on coverage. As from what I'm seeing online, Naloxone (one of the active ingredients in Suboxone) is listed on the drug formulary that was updated on May 20th, 2015 - But no apparent sign of brand name Suboxone in and of itself; or generic Buprenorphine - the other active ingredient in Suboxone. Ref: dhcs.ca.gov/services/pages/ff.html Based on the info above, my guess is that they don't provide coverage, but for verification you can reach California's MediCal at: 1-800-541-5555 (8am-5pm Monday through Friday)...
