I was detected hypertension 2months ago.I did not have have symptoms and while checking my Blood Pressure it was detected.Lab investigations were normal exept slight raise in my Triglyceride. When I consulted my Physician in the evening he has prescribed amilodopine Tab 2.5mg. After taking the Tab the next morning I met the next Physician for 2nd opininon and to my surprise he said my B.P was normal yet asked me to continue the same. But to my surprise the BP is not controlled in spite of gradually incresing the dose to 7.5mg. Now it is around 150 to 160/85 to 90.
