100+ Topics Foundwhat is the best medicine for weight gain?for 18 and 40 yr old..and also a sleeping pill with no side effects?..tnx ## Sorry, this site is not medical professionals, so this site does not prescribe, nor tell anyone, what drugs they should take. You need to consult a doctor for those answers. As to 'no side effects', I am afraid there AREN'T ANY! Whether you take a prescription medication, or something available over the counter, they ALL HAVE SIDE EFFECTS of some sort, that is the nature of putting foreign chemicals into the human body.
Can't live without oxy. I consume it, it consumes my life, i love it. ## I am assuming you are referring to Oxycodone, which is a narcotic pain medication meant to treat severe pain. It may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, constipation and drowsiness. Abuse of this medication can put you in serious danger. Are there any questions or comments?
Hi, i get the yellow norco pill with a cursive v and 3601 on the back. Is there a better brand? ## Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc. manufactures the pill V 3601. Watson Pharmaceuticals also manufactures this drug. More specifically "Watson 358" is the same dosage as the pill you are describing. And as far as I know, the brand name Watson is among the most popular. But based on this information maybe you can ask your pharmacy/doctor for the Watson brand (Watson 358) and see if you feel a difference in effectiveness. Hope this helps! Please post back if you have any other questions or comments. ## what pharmacies use this watson or vintage kind? i got the m357 and its horrible. publix and walmart both use this..i dont wantit again ## YOU ARE SO RIGHT! I have been taking it in the night at bed time daily. Kindly if it has any adverse side effects, if it is used in the long run for 6 months or 12 months. ## Hi Bhagwati, How are you? I actually haven't come across any medications by the name of "best beta" 25mg. Could you possibly be referring to a "beta blocker" (anti-hypertensive medicine)? Also, if you happen to have the bottle in front of you, could you try to post any other specific details such as a potential brand name and/or manufacturer to make our search efforts a little easier? To my knowledge, most prescription medications do carry the risk of side effects. However, if it's something natural we'd need to know more about what it contains in order to draw that conclusion. I hope this helps and I...
My baby sister diagnosed HEPA C positive. I need to know what's the best medicine to protect her liver. I am desperate. ## Hello, Hanah! How are you and your sister? I understand that you're concerned, but the best thing to do is to let her doctor(s) handle this. All of us want the best for our loved ones, but going to her doctor and trying to demand that they prescribe her any given medication could actually do more harm than good. Some mediations should be reserved and only used, when others haven't worked. If she's asymptomatic and her liver function is normal, she may not require any treatment. However, they will most likely recommend that she be vaccinated against Hep A and B, plus stay away from alcohol and any medications that may be toxic to her liver. Are there ...
I have so much pain in my feet, , wrist and knee & legs. Im on Trama-dol hcl 50 mg and Morton. Also prednisone 10 mgs What other meds help with this problem ? ## Hi Binny, What type of pain are you dealing with exactly? Just general pain, or pain from arthritis? If you're able to give me more detail, I can definitely do some research and look at the other options you have. Until then, I would like to recommend acupuncture and essential oils. There are studies that can prove the accuracy of both those methods for pain. I've personally had acupuncture performed on a painful nerve in my foot and it helped tremendously. Essential oils are also beneficial in conjunction with massage therapy. I'll post a link to a page that provides information about certain oils used for pain...

I am already taking dialysis for almost a year,is it possible to drink ketosteril if i am already in dialysis? ## Have you discussed it with your doctor? Ketosteril is usually given to people who are pre-dialysis, it contains Ketoanalogues and amino acids. I wouldn't suggest trying anything without your doctor's approval.
Was on Levothyrosin, synthroid, and Armor thyroid meds over the past 7 years. The experience that I had with each one goes as follows. Levothyrosin made me feel like crap! I was tired, moody, sad, and questioned my sanity while I was on it. Weight gain! Synthroid made my skin, hair dry and brittle! It made me feel very irritated about little things. Weight fluctuation! Next, Armor I liked because I felt great! It helped me get my skin and hair back on a healthy course. Weight loss 20lbs! However, finding a doctor to write a prescription for it became too difficult when I relocated. Every doctor I asked said it may be a natural thyroid med because it comes from a pig but there is nothing natural about it! Anyway, My new doctor asked me to try Tirosint because it was in a liquid gel form and i...

How are you? Do you currently have a PCP that you can consult about this? Only your doctor can help you discover the best solution for you and it may not solely be a medication, therapy could also be beneficial.
I am wondering what is the best antibiotic to fight MRSA or a Staph infection? I went to the hospital last night because I had a spot that started out as an ingrown hair and has become repulsive. The doctor wouldn't specifically tell me what it was so I'm not exactly sure what it is. Did some research and I think it is either Staph or MRSA. I am allergic to penicillian... So I was prescribed Bactrim DS 120mg. Just trying to figure out how well it fights infection because in one day it went from not really anything to worry about to scary! I have a hole in my leg today and yesterday it was just a red bump... So it kinda worries me. Need answers ASAP please! ## I would try colloidal silver 3 times a day. Saturate the area with the liquid. It is available at any vitamin retailer. I...

BUT after 5 days of taking it again , the most violent suicide thoughts claim my brain and the body tension is enormous when ever I am stressed or face conflict situations . I would like to know which generic brand of Seroquel is most effective and also the brands that are least effective? I recently tried Accord and that wasn't effective. Thank you to anyone who will help me with this. ## My son was also just changed to accord and it isn't working the same. It's so frustrating because I just picked up a 100 days supply. ?? He was on 50 mg before but an orange pill then he tried 300mg but it was too strong so I've been cutting them. When we went to our follow up appointment I was able to get it changed to 3, 50mg tablets so I didn't have to cut them in half, but they're not doing anything. ## Sorry that the Accord isn't working for your son. Let's hope someone will suggest an effective generic for Seroquel. ## Unfortunately, ...

WHAT DOES THIS DRUG DO? WHAT IS HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE? ## Hi Carolyn, Amlodipine is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure and chest pain (angina). It lowers blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels so the heart does not have to pump as hard. Learn More: Amlodipine Details According to the Mayo Clinic, high blood pressure is a common condition in which the force of the blood against your artery walls is high enough that it may eventually cause health problems, such as heart disease. Blood pressure is determined by the amount of blood your heart pumps and the amount of resistance to blood flow in your arteries. The more blood your heart pumps and the narrower your arteries, the higher your blood pressure. I hope this info helps to answer your q...
No you can buy Mycitracin over the counter and I have used if and bought it over the counter for 30 years up til now I can't seem to locate stores that sell it. It is the best ointment for rash, impetigo and ringworm and also neutralizes some suborn itchy spider bites. It is the best ointment by far and now it is nowhere to be found or bought. Meanwhile you find all the second hand topics that don't work and you end up spending a fortune. Mycitracin is OUT THERE SOMEWHERE!!! ## The reason that you can't find it anymore is that it actually works and that doesn't put money in the pharmaceutical companies so why sell something that works. Give them something that almost works and then they can go to the doctor for something that has to be issued with a subscription and we c...
I've used Rhodes, Amneal & now just starting Actavis. (Oxycodone 10/325) The Rhodes seemed to work well. The Amneal seemed to barely work at all. The verdict is still out on the Actavis. I'd welcome any suggestions on generics of this drug. ## @Steve, Actavis took over Watson brand and ruined the product in comparison as stated by so many long term Watson customers. As a previous Watson lover I can say that Actavis is hit and miss at times. The 5/325 oxy are huge round hard pills that do not work at all. The softer 7.5/325 oxy are effective but not as good as the old Watson by any means. I have just started to use the 10/325 oxy and I honestly think the 7.5s worked better. Actavis is getting a bad reputation as time goes on but with alot of research on other brands and opini...
