What happened to Myoflex??? Is it still out there but under another name? Is it Aspercreme now and does Aspercreme contain the same ingredients as Myoflex did? I loved Myoflex because it was non greasy when applied, in addition to not having a disgusting smell like the Ben Gay product that would offensively linger after application. ## Yes, Aspercreme contains the same active ingredient. I just so happened to have a tube here, so I was able to look and verify this first hand. LOL I sometimes have wrist, or hand aches and need to use it. The FDA lists its most common side effects as possibly including skin redness, dryness, and irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon, thank you for your comments on my inquiry about Myoflex. Turns out that Myoflex and Aspercreme may ...

My mother was given nitro furmac as result of several UTI infections year after year. Thinking the UTI was worsening and meds weren't working just yet, we didn't realize what was happening. She actually became non-responsive and had a stroke. All due to reaction of nitro furmac. Now on bactrim daily as a preventive antibiotic for infections. Not a concern in over a year. ## Hi George, I'm very sorry to hear about your mother's terrible experience with Nitrofurantoin. Although both medications have a long list of undesirable side effects, there's really no way of knowing ahead of time how you might react to one or the other until its too late. However I'm glad to hear that you were still able to pinpoint the problem none the less. May I ask how long she's been...

After being prescribed Lyrica for back pain 4 months in I started cutting myself. At one time I had over 90 staples. I used a boxcuter. I didn't know who I was and spent time on a psych ward three times. I finally convinced my dr to take me off it and within 3 months I was myself again but my life was in shambles. Bills unpaid and loss of respect from family and friends. Lyrica should compensate me. The period on Lyrica was May 2013 to December 2013

My step mother started taking ibilex for an infection, 2 days later one side of her face became numb and slack, it looked liked she'd had a stroke. We took her to the hospital and they took her off ibilex and gave her steroids instead. She still has slight numbness and slackness to half her face a week later... do you know if this will go away in time? She's quite self conscious of it and convinced it's permanent. :( ## Hello, Karen! How are you? Did they provide her with any specific diagnosis? It sounds like she may have developed Bell's Palsy, if that is the case, the NIH states that most cases clear up within 1 to 2 months, odds are improved if a steroid is given within the first 3 days of it occurring. Though most people do recover without needing any treatment, at ...
