What happened to Myoflex??? Is it still out there but under another name? Is it Aspercreme now and does Aspercreme contain the same ingredients as Myoflex did? I loved Myoflex because it was non greasy when applied, in addition to not having a disgusting smell like the Ben Gay product that would offensively linger after application. ## Yes, Aspercreme contains the same active ingredient. My mother was given nitro furmac as result of several UTI infections year after year. Thinking the UTI was worsening and meds weren't working just yet, we didn't realize what was happening. She actually became non-responsive and had a stroke. All due to reaction of nitro furmac. Now on bactrim daily as a preventive antibiotic for infections. After being prescribed Lyrica for back pain 4 months in I started cutting myself. At one time I had over 90 staples. I used a boxcuter. I didn't know who I was and spent time on a psych ward three times. I finally convinced my dr to take me off it and within 3 months I was myself again but my life was in shambles.
