I had a heart attack 6 months ago and my doctor put me on Carvedilol 6.25 mg. My pharmacy used the pills made by Solco Healthcare. They changed manufacturer's to ZYDUS Pharmeceuticals this month and it doesn't keep my blood pressure down as good. I can't seem to find a pharmacy near me that carries the Solco Healthcare brand of Carvedilol 6.25mg. How can I find a pharmacy anywhere that carries that? Is this medication available here in the US? The medication is called Indanet. The actual drug is called Indometacina. It comes in 25mg light blue capsules. ## Yes, it is available here, the generic is available by prescription under the generic name Indomethacin, and the brand name Indocin. I have had fibromyalgia for 25 years. When I was first told I had fibromyalgia it was called fibrosis. I had been taking wygesic for years. It is the only medicine that helps me. Do you know where I can still fill a prescription for wygesic? Thank you. ## Since Propoxyphene (one of the active ingredients in Wygesic) is a narcotic pain-reliever requiring a prescription, I think your best bet would be to contact a local pharmacy regarding its availability. If your Dr. wrote a script for this medication then any pharmacy can also order it for you at their discretion. I would just encourage you to check with more than one pharmacy (maybe a big chain store along with a mom & pop pharmacy) to ensure that you're getting the best price and customer service. Hi, Desoxyn is not discontinued! Or I just got ripped off by my drug store today! 3/13/2006. Only is available in 5mg. doses. For ADD / ADHD or Narcolepsy. Also for obesity but I never heard of any one getting it for that. I am 180 lbs. Dosage that works best for me Is 25 mg. 2 X Day. Some will tell you to use more. I think much more is bordering on abuse, instead of therapy. I have ADD & Narcolepsy! ## No it's not discontinued it's made by Ovation Pharmeceuticals. I think the name just changed but you can locate it under that. Good luck getting it. I have the severest case of ADHD ever documented in Washington State and none of the stimulants work half as good as Desoxyn and I can't get it. I could if I wanted to pay the $1000+ for it myself. Does anyone know of the availability of Tardyl? Tardyl was used mostly in Eastern Europe. It is composed of Amobarbital, Glutethimide (Doriden) and Promethazine in a three layered tablet. I believe it was made by Extractum Pharmaceuticals, and is indicated for insomnia. The dosage was 125mg of Amobarbital and Glutethimide (Doriden) and I believe 25 mg of Promethazine, all in one tablet. I take Benicar and it was discontinued by my insurance. I called the manufacturer and they sent me a discount card. With this card all I pay is $25.00 each time I refill.
